He had a great day in the booth today. He didn't overdo it but added pertinent information that a lot of folks wouldn't pick up on.I'm friends with Sanchez, so I beg to differ. He's done a real good job announcing today!

I think Campbell is going to do a nice job once he gets more players. They get beat a lot but they play hard and have all season. And he had the trenches playing all-out today and believing, that's not an easy thing with an 0-6 team.I really do want that Lions coach to win some games. Too bad we were playing them today.
I agree that it may be too high.. but all of this is part of the defensive philosophy ...bend but don't breakDoes anyone know what the conversion percentage that opposing teams have against us on third down? Especially 3rd and more than 9 yards? Whatever it is, it feels too high.
It does feel shitty watching this defense. Re: Morris all I can say is Ramsey bailed his ass out with that INT.Morris had a bad day. Who feels comfortable with the Defense coming out and NEEDING a 3 and out? Not me.
Can't say the special teams C got out coached. They've been better this year and it makes you look awful when a team with nothing to lose throws the kitchen sink at you.
As much as I dislike Goff after his last year and a half or so shenanigans, it almost brought me to tears when him and McVay found each other after the game.
Kupp may be the most electrifying WR in the NFL.
Staffords arm talent is next to none.
Mainstream media will say the Rams squeaked one out.. but it took an onside kick and 2 fake punts to be this close.
Go Rams! I'm about to start pounding Busch Lights.
Remove Kupp and this WR group doesn't scare anyone. Keep saying it and will again... We need a third weapon that can be relied upon, a consistent element. Because good defenses can remove two wideouts by doubling Kupp and playing their one on Woody. Rams are trying to get Jefferson going and he did some good things, so maybe he's the guy we'll see.
It's not about every team out there it's about getting through the playoffs. Doesn't even have to be an elite guy just someone who can routinely beat his assignment when your top guys are focused. This league is about matchups. GSoT had 4 plus matchups (Holt, Ike, Faulk, Az) in '99 and our passing game still got beat up a bit in the playoffs. But how many teams could you say that about after taking away their best WR?
On a day where our 3 and 4 would be the other teams starters, even our 4 and 5, it's hard for me to be concerned.

This year's offense is really good but we're really at 2 in terms of plus matchups, at least until someone steps up. Jefferson I am praying is the guy but he needs to start winning more in the pattern.
It does seem like they're trying to get Jefferson going. And he admitted his head was spinning last year. So maybe he's ready to make some strides. He did have a good game tonight, 4 for 43 and a TD is respectable.Yeah, I guess.
I think as Stafford gets more familiar, his connection with Jefferson will improve and Jefferson will look pretty legit before long. Jmo.
DJax has shown his speed must still be respected and I think McVay is just keeping him on ice.
To play to Staffords strengths, I'd like to see the Rams have a jump ball specialist emerge... but I definitely believe we're built very well at WR.
I laughed because it's true. If he'd just learn to eat that throw in the red zone that Ramsey picked, he'd have something. You just can't force plays like that. Throw it through the end zone. This game is exactly why I loved Goff and hated Goff.
I think Van will be ready when the time comes. He runs great routes and has a good pair of mitts. Plus, DJ is still a vertical threat. It does seem like they're trying to get Jefferson going. Higs was 5 for 46 he's a possibility too.

Sorry, can't agree on that last part I was talking about. If you can score and go up 13, you do it. That's literally a nail in the coffin with a little over a minute left.Sanchez has been outstanding, and he's right. Gurley used to go down all the time. Running out the clock > 13 point lead.
Sitting in his house, wearing a Cal hat, beating off to Goff's highlights from the Vikings game in '18.Somewhere Mike Silver is crying while tearing up his prewritten story about Goff’s revenge.
Well it really was only that last sequence that I thought he was wrong. Other than that, I didn't hear a problem with his announcing. Just so ya know, me saying fuck him was more of me saying it cuz he mentioned it was a good time for a blocked FG. I was like don't you wish that shit into existence dammit! LolI'm friends with Sanchez, so I beg to differ. He's done a real good job announcing today!

No, getting the first down and taking knees to win it is literally the nail in the coffin. That's game over. If you score, you open yourself up to the very remote risk that they score a TD, get an onsides, and then have a chance to win it.Sorry, can't agree on that last part I was talking about.
