All I know is our 3rd string QB (Rush) just became our backup. Keller Moore can take his goofy face and go kill himself.

Rico Gathers, the Baylor basketball player who hasn't played football since 8th grade, scored his 2nd TD in 2 games. He just might be our TE#2 if he keeps it up.

They forgot to grade Johnny Hekker. The guy is so good on his first punt he redirected the sun to shine right into the PR's eyes, causing a muff that was recovered by our Horns. He is simply the best!

Yep Rush gets the ball out really quickly, and throws accurately. Seems like a great find.

Ahhh....I missed this last night....not next week....

I think Kupp has been the best Ram WR on the field today
Pharoh Cooper....Kupp dropped one pass...but he was a nice looking rookie wasn't he?

We were looking for him to be our savior not too long ago....lol
not me...just too slow...think he bulked up too much, he looks slower...like a small TE. I still think he has value.

These are all scrubs. No big deal.
shit...I forgot what you were talking about? The backup linemen??? If so, it points to overall depth....and lack of talent probably in the starters as well.

Wagers on who will be starting at RG next week? I'll go with Wichman.
Too soon....but damn....it's necessary.....

AGAIN my fine friend....I'm not a pro coach....I just know football....it was too soon to trade one of our healthiest....and one of our most talented players.....IMO....of course.

Going forward, I saw the same stuff from Wichman too last year....I have read he played pretty good last night...but that's against 3rd and 4th teamers. I'm curious as to what @BonifayRam thinks....
I'd try to grab Brandon Albert...convince him to play RT...maybe....move Havenstein back to guard???....but definitely DRAFT some OG stud...
Any clue on what the hell is wrong with Donnal??

Oh yeah...I'm cutting Pace Murphy tonight.
Our starting receivers right now are Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, Pharoah Cooper, Tavon Austin and Nelson Spruce. If McVay keeps 7 receivers then add Mike Thomas.
Spruce is below...that returner IMO....and has fallen behind Pharoh Cooper....and I'm keeping Thomas...he's my #5 wr.
Spruce is currently 8th....Watkins, Kupp, Austin, Woods, Thomas, Shakier Ryan, KD Cannon, Spruce
(Was Samson hurt?)
I wanna say he tweaked something in that scrimmage couple days ago...Hamstring...He's just resting....I'm sure he plays next week

C Austin Blythe, 82.7 overall grade
Who watched Blythe??? I'm gonna re-watch the game. I wanna see what he did for that 82 grade.
What did you guys think of Mike Jordan? Any chance he could be a starter?
You know me....speed....but he has some awesome tape in college...very instinctive. Always finds the ball. Let's see if he gets some first half run. I'd like to see him against some 1st or 2nd stingers.

He is certainly athletic enough.
forgot what ....you talking bout....oh,edit
More Mike Jordan....his speed is a problem...ball skills are excellent...I like his anticipation too....he's been working this offseason. Should be a good test to go against some 1st and 2nd stingers...

Who did we trade that was healthy and talented? Gaines I wouldn't say is healthy and his talent has been up and down. GRob is certainly healthy but the game tape shows him being far from talented. Look I get that you like to thump the table for certain guys and you sure love going overboard in your praise of them but GRob, who I stuck behind all last year hardcore, has many flaws. I hope the guy turns it around in Detroit but to question his trade by saying he's too talented to trade just ignores those years of games we saw him on the field.

Had an interesting experience at the game yesterday. Heading up to the beer line at halftime at the tunnel I saw an elderly guy having a bit of a discussion with the ushers. I heard him say Hey.. I'm Jim Fassel, I need to get up to the booth. Well, that stopped me in my tracks. I gave him a look and sure as shit it was Jim Fassel, and his wife standing nearby. He looked at me and he seemed either confused or maybe he had some beers.. Anyways, I stuck my hand out and told him it was an honor to meet him, he said howdy and seemed relieved that someone was verifying his identity to the clueless ushers. I told them who he and his son were, they then radio'd a supervisor who showed up quickly to escort him and his wife up into the press box/suite. It was kinda cool!

He's always been healthy....granted he did have a toe issue...but never missed games. His talent, while not proven for the pro's... is indeed obvious because of his draft position....and the fact that he was still able to be traded despite having bad/terrible game film. He's shown he's able...willing blocker...He's looked confused and uncertain of his assignments. I wish this staff would have tried to correct his flaws, instead of relying on developing less talented players....to protect our most valuable asset....the QB.

His draft position makes him talented? Jamarcus Russell and Jason Smith would like a word with you. The Lions traded for him? Yeah they were desperate having suffered two injuries. They traded for or signed 3 guys to compete for their vacant LT position. They were so confident in his talent they hedged their bet more than once. He looked lost out there he had physical talent but had nothing upstairs after 4 years he couldn't grasp our blocking scheme which we never changed with having the same OLine coach and Fisher his whole tenure.

I wish he had worked out too we'd be a better team for it. But the fact is he showed almost no ability to play LT in the NFL aside from a couple of games at the end of one season. He was the most penalized OT in the league and gave up the most pressures of any OT in the league. It's comical you keep making it out like some travesty we traded him. Hope he works out but I'm not losing sleep for not having him on the roster anymore.

When Goff said he was sorry to see him go, that shoulda been enough for most people. It is a travesty....a mockery....a huge fuck up...to trade a guy for a 6th rounder....when we have 2 guys STARTING that are WORSE. Yeah...he's better than Jamon....and better than Havenstein...and the only guy that gets it is Goff....Now McVay is all red-faced looking at the protections....Gurley is STILL getting hit as soon as he touches the rock.....

Maybe I missed something? How many touchdowns did we score? What was our rushing yards per carry? Yards before contact? How many times did our QB get hit...hurried....pressured??? And we're giving away #2 overall picks....cause why??? Jamon Brown is nicer? Acts like he knows the plays? Doesn't RAP!!!!?????!!!!! GEEEZ!

If I get one thing out here now....YOU CAN'T TELL SHIT ABOUT LINE PLAY WITHOUT PADS ON....AND
I won't get into how smart you have to be to play the game....but remembering the snap count is all most of these dudes need to perform.

LOLOLOL WTF else do you expect him to say? He's a leader of the team and if he didn't say that I'd worry about him.

It is a travesty....a mockery....a huge freak up...to trade a guy for a 6th rounder....when we have 2 guys STARTING that are WORSE. Yeah...he's better than Jamon....and better than Havenstein..

We have more tape of those two being good than we have of GRob being good. There was nothing wrong with Havenstein last night btw.

Do you know what was happening in practices and meeting rooms? If so please share with us. The simple fact of the matter is we don't know what happened behind closed doors. You're making a hell of a lot of assumptions about McVay, LaFleur and Kromer. None of us here including you knows a damned thing about how GRob was in practices or meeting rooms. But please keep making assumptions that our coaches are idiots or incompetent because that's what you're doing every time you thump the table for GRob and say we didn't give him a chance. He had 4 whole years of chances and he pissed them down the drain one sack and one penalty flag at a time all the while laughing his ass off on the way to the bank with his paychecks. My God the man single handedly allowed more sacks and tackles for a loss than any other OLineman I can remember in Rams history and you're crying we didn't give him one more chance to kill a drive and cost us a game.

Now in the first 2017 pre season game Brown, of the starting five is the weak link. Lets just say Brown has not developed as fast as most Ram fans would have expected coming from a 3rd rd selection in 2015. Not all of Brown's 1st quarter work was trash. I still maintain that Brown's best NFL OL post is LG. But Saffold has nailed that down for 2 straight seasons now & that should not change because Kromer does not have a bona fide back up LT amongst our reserves.

OK Brown has been inserted as a starter since 2015, this season is the third....the first 2 seasons Brown gave way to Cody Wichmann that's a fact. Cody has more starts than Brown too. I would bet that Cody Wichmann will get a bit more reps with the 1st team OL this week. Cody's work against the Cowboys was very good. The thing about Cody is his play-form is just plain ugly but he gets the job done. Note:Having H-back Higbee as your last line of blocking defense for your QB on that right side is a sad joke:sadwalk:. Cory Harkey job is safe IMO.

Kromer is dealing with the absence since TC began of his best reserve RT & his best reserve RG who is Andrew Donnal.AD has a unhealthy knee. No telling when AD gets healthy if he will insert him @ RT & move Havenstein back inside or just insert AD @ RG. I leaning to where AD is inserted @ RT so Kromer can return to his original plan & desires of Havenstein as interior OG. You & I & the rest of us will see. Ref. Pace Murphy I say lets get Pace healthy & see him play healthy before we cut him. He beat out both Williams & battle last season as a rookie. Battle is playing LT now in the NFL.

Grob experiment is over and I'm okay with it. He stunk it up with us. Gave us lots of penalties and negative yards. I hope he has a good season with the lions. No point worrying about how good he is now IMO.

I think we ran right...with Gurley....about 4 times....with no movement from Havenstein or Brown.
G-Rob is a better run blocker than both....probably a better pass blocker too.
But please keep making assumptions that our coaches are idiots or incompetent because that's what you're doing every time you thump the table for GRob and say we didn't give him a chance.
I didn't say idiots...nor imply idiotic beliefs...more likely ignorance....which is uneducated, but capable of learning....and we didn't give him a chance with the new staff.

Yes it's over...yes he stunk...if that was the measuring stick, we should have traded 40 guys for 6th round picks.

Gurley ran the ball 3 times once Brown got abused and he was tackled for a loss. Once there was decent blocking and Gurley went down with first contact. Once again we have more tape of Brown and Havenstein playing the OLine better than GRob that's a simple fact that is indisputable.

I didn't say idiots...nor imply idiotic beliefs...more likely ignorance....which is uneducated, but capable of learning....and we didn't give him a chance with the new staff.

Again you're implying you know what the coaches did behind closed doors and you are critical of them for the roster decision they made. Sorry I side with the coaches.

Yes it's over...yes he stunk...if that was the measuring stick, we should have traded 40 guys for 6th round picks.

He certainly wouldn't be the first guy the Rams had traded away or traded for that turned it around with a change of scenery.
