Sorry to give you the reality of the situation, but they've beat us 6 straight so were not the better team when we play them.

Part of me says McVay didn't like what he saw from the run game so far. At the same time
it was one yard. If they can't get one yard even on a running down then we might as well go home.

You don’t have to run it on 3rd and 1, but why go empty set and Telegraph it?

With their place kicker punting there should be someone shorter to not let that ball roll 47 yards. Of course if they go back to the run they won't be punting anymore.
 
McVay should really run six offense of lineman from here on out. His OL is just getting beaten to a pulp.
