The 49’ers were smart though... The JG deal was heavily front loaded. His dead money is pretty much gone after this season.

His cap hits are pretty stout (~$27MM)... but they can get out easy now.

The biggest pain would be the wasted time. Starting again.

Sure hope that doesn’t happen.
