I'll go and say it, these last two losses fall squarely on Goff and McMartz!

Some posters want to say the running game was not good but it was better then the Seafucks and Henderson averaged over 5 yards a carry.

We are a better team than the terrible Scott Linehan Rams but I measure each team against the best Rams teams, the Vermeil/Martz Rams from what is now 20 years ago.
While that SB win cant be minimized, it is the only thing keeping the comparison from being completely unfair...
To McVay!

Vermeil/Martz:
9 seasons
4 winning seasons, 4 losing seasons, 1 .500
5 playoff seasons
79-65 record, 54.9% win %
2 SB, 1-1
McVay:
4 Seasons
4 winning seasons, NO losing season, NO .500
3* playoff seasons
42-21 record, 66.7% win %
1 SB, 0-1

*at present they are in #6 seed position

Better how? More total yards? Seahawks had less yards, but scored a rushing TD. If that's better, then the Rams passed the ball better too

No but they are .... everything Is goffs fault .. go back and read some of the posts

Goff sucks
Goff lost us the game
Goff is soft and a pussy
Blah blah blah

Goff was bad yesterday there is no doubt of that and I don’t dispute for a second that he is having a bad year .. but it wasn’t his fault that

The oline got zero push on three attempts from the one yard line
It’s not his fault that on the first drive on the 2nd half the Seahawks marched down the field and score

The int was totally his fault I have never seen a dumber pass in 20 years of watching football
The slide instead of dive was his fault
But I’m not so sure they cost us the game either

I never said people weren't criticizing goff. I said that 95% of the people say its many different issues and goff is one of them.

the narrative that everyone is saying that goff is the only problem is complete bs.

Yeah. That was like it didn't happen...no flag, Aikman and Buck didn't mention it even though it was obvious as they were going over the replay.

Was beginning to think I was the only one who saw it.

What a load of crap...
You weren't the only one. Ask my wife and kids as they tried to calm me down as I was screaming at the TV. But I don't think the AD hold was the worst thing on that play. He was held for sure, but it was the other OL who was held worse and was yelling at the ref as RW tossed another miracle ball downfield. And that play would have forced a punt and this would have been a different game.

I hope we get some health back and head back to Seattle for the first round. I believe we're going to cook up some serious revenge jambalaya.

There was also a massive and obvious hold on AD who would have sacked RW before he rolled out for that long pass in the 3rd quarter. AD was pulled so hard, he jerked backwards a bit... and....nothing.

Yeah, I saw that during the game. AD flattened the RG, and the RG tried to tackle him as he went down because AD had Wilson dead to rights. Must be nice to be able to cheat.

Well, except for Brown's runs at the goal line. </fuckmylife>

No one is going to trade for Goff with his deal.
Dead money wound be brutal.
Moving on to a vet like Dalton or Fitz only makes sense if it saves money.
With the dead money that wouldn’t really be the case.
Don’t know Wentz contract but no one is going to trade anything of value for him either as sideways as his game has gotten.

You probably could not trade him. Or maybe you could if it was a Talib like deal where you are paying someone to take the cap hit for you. Boy would that be costly. Can you imagine giving up a 2022 first rounder for someone to take Goff's contract only to turn around and start a re-tread? Man that would bite.

I hope Goff turns it around. I don't know if he needs to put in more work or what. Maybe the offense needs to change. The bottom line is - he really feels like a limiting factor on this O. With all of the bootlegs we run, imagine if we had someone who could run just a little bit.

If goff does magically play which I doubt he does. He'll have to be in the gun all game. No way he can take snaps under center.

Wentz for Goff makes financial sense for both teams. See if change of scenery helps both. Id bet McVay gets more out of Wentz than Goff and more then Philly is getting out of Wentz.

The hype is kind of warranted at this point.
Took a 4-12 team to 11-5, and then went to the SB his second season.
There's a surplus of rope I'm willing to give McVay.

I wonder how much of that success was due to a healthy Todd Gurley???

because that's a false narrative that gets replayed week after week and its so damn annoying lol.

NO ONE SAYS ITS ONLY GOFFS FAUlT

damn can we stop repeating that BS

yeah a lot of people are on Goff right now - but the narrative that most people are exclusively blaming goff is a made up story that keeps getting repeated by a few people.

Read the posts - people say its a lot of things, goff is part of it but not the only part of it.
That’s right

only 12 of the first 40 blamed Goff without mention of any others, except back-handedly

carry on

I’m out

As much as I HATE IT!!! I totally AGREE!!!

I do NOT know what happened to the Goff that played in the 2018 Super Bowl or the McVay that Coached in the 2018 Super Bowl but you can NOT convince me those were the same two guys I witnessed in that EMBARRASSING Game this afternoon!!!

Actually, Both Goff and McVay were terrible in the Super Bowl.

I'll go and say it, these last two losses fall squarely on Goff and McMartz!

Don't forget McBlythe, since we're using that suffix now.

Will the Goff’s infamous pass make the C’MON Man segment of Monday Night Countdown tonight? It’s certainly worthy of it!
