.

This thread was supposed to be about Mcvay, the play caller at the end of games. Even at the end of halves.

Everyone was saying the game was over if they called the interception a fair play. But the Broncos still had 3 time outs in their pocket.

Would Mcvay have gotten a 1st down in that situation. History isn't pretty for him.

Broncos woulda forced a 3 and out. Got the ball near midfield with just under a minute. Nix woulda found wide open receivers and they woulda marched into the endzone for the game winning TD anyway. The difference is, we wouldn't had enough time left to end the drive in the redzone. In other words, we still woulda lost.
So. are you giving up on the Rams this year? I say the interception would have caused a mometum shift for us to win the game.

I agree with you, @Loyal that the Rams would have won the game after the Interception, however, I still say @snackdaddy and @kurtfaulk make relevant and acceptable points pertaining to the discussion.

I've noticed that nearly every post on the socials that I've seen of people who've been involved in the game, officiating or player, have said it was a pick.

And the socials are full of randos telling guys whose professional lives are/were football that they don't know what they're talking about.

Wow, that's assuming a lot!!!!
There seems to be a lot of that among the tribesmen. Assumption and rock throwing :)
We are down what I would consider our First and Third best Receivers. Puka and Ferguson.
And losing Ferguson was huge, because he is the only TE on the team who can do what he does
and that shrunk some of the playbook.

So the offense stalled, but did finally adjust and Stafford who had missed on a couple deep possible TD's
got his touch back. Mumpfield stepped up and made some huge plays.
I know the offense put the defense in a bad spots with all of the 3 and outs , But our defense has to start
getting home.. There was pressure including tipped balls ,one causing an int . There was one sack
the whole game and that was a ILB. Run defense was on point, Dobbins had a 2.9 YPC.

If we could just get healthy and stay that way we will dominate.
We have some guys that are playing amazing football.
Te was spectacular! Stafford missed him deep or he has 299yd game,
KW has brought his game to a New Level!! running and receiving.
Mcduffie and Lake are playing lights out!

The best WR in the league and the best defensive player in the league
are on our sidelines and that stinks, but it's a long season.
The tides their'a changin I can feel it in my old bones.:sunglasses:

Its mostly frustration. But did you see the wide open receivers on the winning drive? It wasn't just one time. If that is how they're gonna play when they are nursing a small lead, its gonna be hard to hold that lead.

We don't know if it would've won them the game... and one play doesn't decide the game.. the Rams let them back in, that's on them.

That being said... I sure do like their chances better if they were correctly awarded the interception than the way it played out.
