Game Thread: Saints @ Rams

My impressions so far....

First series - Aaron Donald is a monster. Unblockable. Was in the backfield almost as the ball was snapped - we just did a bad job finishing the plays and Ingram and Richardson started dancing sideways on us...Run defence has been awful.

Very impressed with Joyner and Gaines. Both very physical. Someone in a camp report said watching Joyner tackle guys bigger than him is like watching a lion take down a huge wildebeest and that's what it looks like! And Gaines has made some big hits and forced 2 fumbles (even if one wasn't called). Roberson made a nice play as well.

Michael Sam is clearly better than a straight (no pun intended) up 7th round pick.

Stedman Bailey is deserving of the nickname "Studman" Bailey.

Shaun Hill is very competent.

Stacy is no1.

Our O-line depth is much improved - and good to see Barrett Jones getting some action as well!

Seemed to be affected by the red zone - but also by the general loss of momentum - that false start penalty etc didn't help.
