I may at some time binge watch the show if it ends up on Netflix.

Highly unlikely.
Netflix is bigger than every traditional media company except for AT&T, Comcast and Disney now, so AT&T, the new owner of Time-Warner & HBO, isn't about to start competing against itself for its own productions. Amazon Prime does carry HBO's Deadwood series, but they weren't given permission to broadcast that until some 12 years after Deadwood stopped production.

My next prediction, “Dracarys” will be shouted by all attackers on Kings Landing, much like "Remember the Alamo" spurred on the forces of Sam Houston at San Jacinto.

so...stupid question time.

When Euron killed the one dragon, and Dany was riding the other...surely she could have seen that all the crossbows were mounted on the bows of all the Ironborn ships.

So why oh why didnt she light their asses up with Drogon attacking the ships from the stern. Dollar to a donut Drogon could pull a u turn quicker than the ships could have

I just saw that clip online and that's the first thing I thought. And as the dragon was flying after the other one went down that's what I was expecting to see happen.

I'm known for my keen sense of the obvious.

The camera shot obscured the ships AFTER the first arrow pierced the doomed dragon, and actually another arrow pierced the creature before it hit the water.

I don't know if any of you have picked up a bow and arrow and hit a bulls eye on a target from 400-500 yards at least WHILE IT WAS MOVING, for the first time......You can't say it was a lucky shot, because the dragon was hit at least twice. Looking at the ships firing the arrows, they were very small, which means looking from the ships in the sky towards the dragons would have shown a very small moving targets. Plus, the ships are moving in the water...That is much more unlikely of a scenario than what Dani did or didn't do. They should have been extremely safe, inmo, if this was real shot from a medieval cross bow, without a dragon homing device...

Well it's a TV show, so that's our answer I suppose.

Except after they wiped everyone out, the Night King would have raised the dead

I thought it was one of the worst and most illogical.

It wouldn't be so easy to shoot a dragon with a ballista. And when they shot the ships with the ballista, it seemed like it took no time at all to reload them. Did the writers get the idea from playing Age of Empires, with the rapid firing ballista?

Why didn't Dany just circle around the back and torch Eurons ships or do a dive from the top? And why didn't they have any Intel? Ballista are hard to miss.

Cercei paid Bronn to kill her brothers. She hated Tyrion her entire life, yet she could have taken him out from the wall, but didn't?

For that matter there was a perfect opportunity to start shooting at the entire small company, yet she didn't. She's always has been ruthless. She blew up the Sept, with citizens in it.

And Jaime doing a 180 and running back to Cercei was odd. He's the only Lannister to go North. They spent years developing him into a decent man. Why run back to her aid. Hopefully his real intent is to kill her. Maybe he thinks that she will win if he doesn't interfere.

I wonder how much Starbucks paid for that coffee cup to be left there on the table.

There IS NO FUCKING WAY that thing was left there by accident.

Great Ad though. It's working perfectly.

If I recall correctly, the episode prior to the season finale was always the most shocking in GOT. Wonder if that's how this season goes?

I saw the screenshot.

I think so too. Or at least it's a very likely possibility.

At some point someone would have noticed it and they would have re-shot the scene.

At the very least during editing they could do something to cover it up.

I just read that they've digitally removed the cup now. They also say that it wasn't actually a Starbucks cup... it was a cup from the catering company they use on set that uses cups that look very similar to Starbucks.

And... apparently it was hot tea... not even coffee.

Conspiracy Theory DEBUNKED. Damn it man.

I loved it......I had more problem with that impossible cross bow shot on the dragon, than the cup!

The made a quick reference to "the new Lord of Dorne," so I maybe they arrive in time as Dani's army is getting its @ss kicked, ala the forces from the Vale in the Battle of the Bastards?

btw: Santa Monica Pier > Bournemouth Pier:sup:
