Been waiting for the appearance of Barrick Dondarrion and his flaming sword.(of course that hasnt been seen yet)

Kind of funny that every time they show Tywin Lannister he is sitting down, either on his horse, with his war council or behind his desk writing letters.

Not much in this episode of Rob Stark, Jon Snow and just a small blurb with Bran (where is Rickon?)

Varys has shared the secret of how he was cut, along with other secrets, with Tyrion, along with the fact that he has captured his sorcerer, which I was quite surprised by.

The scene with Varys and Lady Olenna matching wits was excellent, each trying to prove who was smarter. Loved the line " Are you trying to seduce me? What happens when the non-existent bumps against the old and decrepit? "

Funny that Sansa is being hooked up with Loras Tyrell, in the book her marriage was arranged to another Tyrell, a cripple, but he hasnt even been introduced in the series yet.

They sexy, crazy, bitch Daneryus has her Unsullied, all three dragons and some char broiled slave masters under her belt now....watch out Westeros!!!

All in all a great episode, which is good because I was starting to worry that the series was starting to flame out ( no pun intended)

ps. what the hell does Pod have in his britches that 4 whores were left bowlegged and speechless!!!!

I don't know but the Pod legend grows and is hillarious. Wonder who thought of that lol.

As far as Loras I'm assuming it's just time saving measure instead of introducing the cripple. Since he's already a well known character much like they've done with a lot of characters the last couple seasons... combing them into others or completely rewriting them.

But was very much looking forward to this episode. When it was getting towards the end and they hadn't shown Daenrys yet I was getting bummed because I was really hoping to watch the guy get toasted this week lol. They played that scene out very well. And good music score also.

I watched it. We're being set up for next week, it seems.

Joffrey doesn't seem to like the women .... does he.
And Arya is gonna fuck some people up when she gets older, eh?
Plus, it looks like Jaime Lannister is gonna be alright after all.

The whole Melisandrei part where she comes and gets Gendry never happens in the book but I kind of like that little twist. they basically just gave Gendry a purpose and he replaces another character that wasn't all that important aside from what is in store for Gendry now.

I did love the little conversation her and Arya got to have because of this add in. "I see a darkness in you," -- "eyes, you'll shut forever." "We will meet again,"

Awesome.

Yeah that was a great line. She's apparently going to turn into a badass warrior at some point.

Never before have I anticipated yet dreaded an hour of tv like I do the next episode. It'll be a good one. All though annoyed they are skipping showing it on memorial day weekend.

The Red Wedding went off better than I thought it would. Bravo HBO !! But Catelyn Starks reaction to Rob dying was a bit weak I think.

Haha. Arya is a fun character to follow through the series I will say.

The Red Wedding was as brutal on film as it was in the books.

When the Red Wedding happened in the book, I was laying in bed reading with a ball game on in the background. I jumped up, turned off the ball game and reread the whole chapter, convinced that I had missed some clues somewhere. After reading it several times, put the book down, grabbed a beer, and sat in tyhe dark to think about what had just happened.

a few things I dont recall from the books tho, The frist being Jon Snow and the fight with the wildings, and then he gets away, and Lord Blackfish getting up to take a leak before all hell breaks loose.

So lets remember, Edmere Tully and Lord Blackfish right now are missing in action, not sure whether the got done in by the Freys or not

Well some minor spoilers maybe... not really but i guess sort of. But Jon Snow escapes almost like it happened in the book but he gets shot in the leg by an arrow... presumably by Ygritte which was interesting because Ygritte doesn't miss so it was kind of viewed as she didn't want to kill him but she was still pissed. I'm not sure why they left that out of the show though. Especially after they specifically show her shooting that deer a distance away to sort of prove she is a sharp shooter with a bow. Figured that was setting up her "missing" later and getting his leg instead. Not sure why they skipped that... guess it wasn't needed to have Snow limping around Castle Black.

Lord Blackfish wasn't at the wedding in the books I don't think. I remember Smalljohn was and throws a table over to protect Robb after he gets shot but he eventually gets killed. But that character isn't in the show. Blackfish has some minor parts later on so guess they are just going to make that piss one hell of a lucky piss on his part maybe.

I remember Jon getting attacked by the eagle in the books, but for some reason I remember Ygritte nursing his wounds after. Old Age I guess LOL
