My wife and I had originally planned to do a crab boil for the game.

However I found this recipe in which Binging with Babish (a youtuber) makes the Liz Lemon sandwich. A sandwich depicted in 30 rock.

We were going to do them tonight but making homemade marbled rye takes a little longer than we expected.

The sandwich consists of Rye, pastrami, turkey, coleslaw, and potato chips with a russian dressing and swiss cheese.

I should also add that my Dad will be helping smoke two pork bellies I've prepared for a smoke to become delectable bacon.

Damn A.J.

We can't even digest this evenings meal and you are already posting a game day menu 20 hours before kickoff vs the Hawks.

You must be Jonesing...

I feel you brother.. This game is no guarantee regardless of how well the Rams history is vs the Seahawks.

It's a midseason playoff game and it will tell us fans a lot about how good the Rams are 9 games deep in the season.

The meal for me and my crew tomorrow will be overnight marinated chicken breasts. I will be the chef in charge of the BBQ and there will be chips with homemade salsa along with potato salad and the usual finger foods snacks.

Living in Florida, we will have finished our late lunch a couple of hours before the 4:25 pm kickoff and be chomping at the bit for the biggest game of the Rams 2020 season.

You got me.

I'm always Jonesing for this thread.

Win or Lose each week .

This thread is always a win.

It's also nice to be ahead of your cooking

Just ordered food from a new fast food joint called "Freddy's." It's a lot like Steak n' Shake, but with better burgers and shakes and worse fries (they weren't bad, but I wasn't expecting the fries to have a spice.)

I got these babies to grill! They are local and should be extra good.

The “G” means ”German” (I hope). Or... it means “good”, and if so, glad they aren’t “B” :D.

Going to start a pot of potatoes and sauerkraut a few hours before... I love how that smells cooking, too. Almost an appetizer by itself. (y)

It’s cold today. So using gas grill, but that’s okay.

I'm about to order either Nova on an everything bagel with extra capers or a grilled cheese with tomato and bacon from our local Jewish Deli (Toojays) for breakfast. I can't decide.

Later... I've got a giant homemade chicken breast pot pie to put in the oven.

Liked what I did yesterday, so I'm doing it again.

Boneless skinless chicken breast marinated in Frank's Red Hot, with some Wally world garlic rolls and Mac and cheese.

Hawaiian lunch plates on the menu today. Grilled chicken (pineapple/soy marinade we picked up during our years in the islands), mac salad, and steamed rice (going calrose today for the Hawaii throwback feel lol).

I highly recommend the Liz Lemon sandwich.

The marbled rye my wife made is incredible!
