I'm about to order either Nova on an everything bagel with extra capers or a grilled cheese with tomato and bacon from our local Jewish Deli (Toojays) for breakfast. I can't decide.

Later... I've got a giant homemade chicken breast pot pie to put in the oven.

FAT
My kind of meal. Lox on bagels with extra capers. Add lettuce, and purple onion and I'm in business. We had it last week on the Rams day off.

sounds delish but being Jewish I just can't eat pork. Oh well, maybe in the next life.

My mom's side is Jewish, but we don't really keep kosher. So we do eat pork, shellfish, etc.

Oh... it had that on it too, along with tomato and cream cheese. Totally Awesome!

It's funny certain things you never eat, never liked cream cheese and always refrained from Bagels, just always seem to make such a mess in the office or anywhere else. I realize you can have them anytime, but I was never a breakfast guy, preferring a strong roasted brew over anything else.

Freddy's steak burgers?
So, I searched and found Freddy's here in AZ, and went with it. I found it to be nothing special. Steak burger was thin shaved slices, and therefore kind of unsatisfying. The patty melt wasn't bad and French fries sucked.

I'm not a breakfast person either. I only eat it on weekends sometimes or when I'm on vacation. But there are some extremely tasty things to eat for breakfast.

Bagels are funny... there are crappy bagels, and there are very good bagels. I haven't really found one that is in between. A good quality bagel toasted properly with cream cheese is almost like desert. It's a real treat. There are different varieties of cream cheese too.

As for coffee... I never drink that unless it has Baileys or Rum Chada in it. So... that means only on the weekends or on vacation too. But even then... I almost never drink it. I get it though... my wife drinks a cup every morning.

I've been to Freddy's a few times. I enjoyed it.
It is a bit different, though.
Its not a thick, juicy burger at all.
The patties are thin, but tons of fat in them so they get crispy edges on them.

Nice looking setup, though!
Thanks!

Yeah...since we can't go to games at the stadiums, I bust out my stuff just to add a little fanfare while watching at home!

Sorry for hyping it up, Karate.
Don't even apologize!

I was excited to try something new I hadn't heard about. And, I was just sharing my opinion. Many people must love the place cause it was packed when I went to pick up my order!

Anyways, thanks for sharing!
