Never got the baked beans thing, never liked them regardless of how they are prepared. Crab Claws I'm envious of you having access to fresh seafood daily.

My oldest son doesn't like any kind of beans... we all say he's mental. LOL. We were literally just laughing about that.

The irony I was just conversing to my wife yesterday about not getting the baked beans thing as her Dad enjoyed them and my sister always makes them "Grandma Browns baked beans" and my children would always ask..."Why does Aunt Lynn, make baked beans, but nobody eats them?" I know some of it is generational because beans stick to your ribs, so there is that, but I would prefer rice over beans, although others would debate they go hand & hand.

Ate a late breakfast with some over easy eggs, toast, and some homemade sausage a friend of mine makes. Did the wings yesterday. Might take some fish out and grill it for halftime. It's beer time NOW!!!!! GO RAMS!!!!

I'm grilling two different kinds of sausage. I also grill a big pan of onions, peppers, garlic, sauerkraut, and beer. I put the sausage on that after they are grilled crispy.

Baked beans with a shit ton of bacon.

Also got some stone crab claws.
thought stone crab season wasnt until October?

nothing special today, since I am in the middle of basically a whole house remodel. So just nachos and the usual chips and dip. Might do some chex mix later

I am going to work with this recipe...

I love Red beans.

When I cook mine I use Basmati rice and I throw in a couple sliced Roger wood spicy sausage.

I was hoping to eat crow today, but so far, I seem to be spot on for my season prognostication.

I'm really hoping I can send the crow back, but we'll see.

The good news is that if I continue to be right, we'll be looking at going 14-2, so... Silver Lining???

Well, back to my Italian roots today serving Chicken Cacciatore with spaghetti and an aged Montepulciano d'Abruzzo to sip and enjoy. I realize some of you will struggle to pronounce what is on my menu, however, like the movie The Natural..."I can't pronounce it, but sure does eat and drink well."
