As much as I'd like McCarthy starting to think Daniels might trump him as the third QB. Man he looks good, tried to poke holes in his game and it's damn hard to for anything meaningful.
Daniels will go before McCarthy

I wonder if the NFL could hire some of these PAC 12 Refs? They seem to be doing better than what they have now.
IDK if it's the refs or if it's the policies but totally agree. Watched another game earlier and those refs were great to.

I forgot about this game tonight....
Been pulling for the Beavers all these years - so anytime the Ducks get trucked, is another great day!
Go Huskies!!

Gotta give Penix cred, the boy made the plays. Much of the difference early was the trenches being in Washington's favor but he made some great throws tonight and was the difference.

Seems like Oregon always comes up short on defense. Like their best teams just never have enough. Glad Washington won because they're better in the trenches and thus have a better chance to show well in the playoff matchup.

I'd love to see Washington vs Michigan in the Rose Bowl and the PAC-12 finish right with a good bowl game. Hope that's how things go.

Penix throws a pretty ball Enjoyable game. Washington busted out and fook a big lead. Oregon fought back. They exchanged picks and Washington failed on 4th down, then Oregon finally got the lead. Washington got it back built on it. Oregon with a 2 play TD drive made it look close. It's possible, if Washington didn't fail on 4th down, Oregon never gets the lead. Entertaining game for sure.

All I kept thinking during the game was that there are a whole lot of guys on both sides that will be playing in the NFL.

The other thing I kept thinking is why aren't NFL refs as good as the ones in that game? They were only interested in getting it right. Not shaving points or whatever motivates them to make horrible calls.

These PAC teams usually don’t hold up well against tough Big 10 or SEC defenses

I posted on another thread that should McCarthy declare, March and April will be filled with entertaining discussions on this Forum over the relative strengths, weaknesses and potential of Williams, Maye, Penix, Nix, Daniels and McCarthy.

It's so early right now but teams that are likely to be looking to add a Quarterback are:
Chicago, New England, Las Vegas, Minnesota, Tampa, Atlanta and the New York Giants.

Teams that could possibly be looking to add a Quarterback are:
Tennessee, Denver, the Jets, Washington, New Orleans, Seattle, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Arizona and the Rams.

That's more than half the teams in the NFL.

Many of those teams have veteran quarterbacks under contract but some could be thinking 1 to 2 years out.
Figure Cousins will be on the move; and, maybe a couple other veterans ... like Fields ... but many teams (ownerships) want that Fresh Out-of-the-Box Rookie ... you know, the Untouched Virgin ... like @Loyal!

And, when you do the math, there are not enough talented quarterbacks for every team. It's Musical Chairs.

People will have strong opinions, and there will be some lively discussions, Should be fun!

Every thing I see on him says 6'4" 210 lbs
ESPN has him listed as 6'4" 210
CFR has him listed as 6'3" 185

Who knows because when they're short they're listed taller by their teams and when they're skinny they're listed heavier by their teams. I go by what I see....and I see "skinny". If he measures 210 at the combine, somebody has got to check his pockets for sand!!!:laugh2:
He's a talent for sure. I just worry about his durability in the NFL.

Yeah weights are always different, heck we hear AD99 say he's lighter than what the Rams list all the time. But all of the draft sites and LSU list Daniels bigger. was the CFR when he was being recruited? I've seen him as light in some of his college recruiting stuff coming out of high school a lot ligher than 185 :D

Eager to get a look at Beck in this game vs Bama. Huge game with real risk if he doesn't play well. Should be enlightening.
