Bernie is a turd and the reason he is unreadable is that even when he is right, or pointing out something that is true he is an insufferable asshole about it. And when he is wrong he is exactly the same insufferable asshole.

I can't stand the dude.. he sounds like he's a packet of sugar in his coffee and a cheeseburger away from cardiac arrest.

It amazes me people say Stan "stole the Rams from St. Louis" or whatever. Were these people not present when Georgia ruined a perennial playoff team, gutted them, moved them to STL and not only made the city pay for a new stadium, but made them sign a lease completely in the Rams favor?

And, you know, there's the fact that the Rams were in LA for half a century...

Stan might not have a lot of fans, but Georgia was the worst in my eyes.

hmmm makes me wonder

what's Shane writing about today?

knew that, already. Just wondering if the tone of his articles are the same
This was Shane's latest Rams story concerning the Rams win vs the Jags....here is an excerpt:
"Some wins will be pretty. Some will be ugly. But the best teams find ways to get it done one way or another on a consistent basis. And that’s exactly what L.A. did against the Jags, as the special teams unit propelled the Rams to victory."
https://nflspinzone.com/2017/10/18/los-angeles-rams-special-teams-great-win-vs-jaguars/

He told me himself that he was the LA Rams reporter for this site and he replied to my question as to whether he could be fair. He said that he could and the cited story doesn't reveal any animosity. *shrugs

Amazing how all these blowhards and media guys start showing up at our doorstep when our boys start winning. I said this in a prior thread and I'll say it again, it looks like the bandwagon about damn near reached full capacity.

Fuck off losers, only loyal fans deserve to enjoy this awesome ride! Don't want to see our fans and social media whoring turn into what Seattle seacocks fans have become, a bunch of bandwagon fans who don't even know who guys like Walter Jones or Sean Alexander are. Give it another year where we permenantly lay claim to the division, and they'll all start disappearing again.

What cracks me up with Bernie is even when he's complimenting the team and their direction he just can't help but remind us of the bad times. We know about the bad times we lived through them too. Even though he's pointed those bad things out to us in each and every article he can't help but remind us. One of these days he'll write an article where he doesn't have to remind us of the dark times.

If he didnt waste so much space with the harping on old news he would hve to come up with more real content to fill up his column.

Disagree. Since the Rams have to share LA (for now) I want them to scoop up every possible fan, leaving the Chargers with very low attendance until they have to sell the team to slink back to San Diego.

On the field the new Rams’ players and new coach are quickly cutting ties to a depressing, disgusting past that made the Cleveland-LA-STL-LA Rams one of the sorriest enterprises in the history of professional sports.

Really?

Bernie did some research on the stats. It has been a welcome and remarable turnaround in one year. Good article even though it was a little over the top with some of the negative.

I never really understood this sentiment given Kroenke was just as responsible for the Rams leaving as Georgia. It was his money and investments that made it possible, this why he had right to first refusal in the first place.

He's an opportunist who saw an opportunity. He may have facilitated their move but he didn't create the ordeal.

Well there are quite a big difference in the Stan vs Georgia debate.

1. Georgia made no bones about that she was moving the team. Everyone already knew and she didn’t bash the people of La on the way out

2. Kroenke repeatedly said he wasn’t moving the team

3. He stopped Khan from buying the team when Khan publicly stated he was going to keep the Rams in STL

4. Kroenke blasted the city with fake biased studies to make up a reason to leave

5. Goodell, Kroenke, Demoff, that other guy that works for Goodell kept postering making the city go through the motions when they knew it was no chance to keep the team.

If you’re not from STL you wouldn’t understand the roller coaster us fans was on or the hurt and anger we felt when that report came out about our city.

I know it was hard for LA to lose the Rams too but at least Georgia for all her faults kept it 100 and didn’t lead the city on.

I'm impressed gents this thread HASN'T BEEN LOCKED YET! nicee!

It's actually a pretty decent article...

I just can’t stand Bernie’s style. It’s all a bunch of negatively stated positives. I have always hated reading his crap. Even when he was supposedly being positive, he was always being a pant load to someone.

One of these days he'll write an article where he doesn't have to remind us of the dark times.
No he won’t. I’m absolutely positive of that.
No one denies Bernies writing skills, his emotions get the best of him is all.
I do. He’s a hack.

Exactly. He strikes me as a person I would never want to talk with about - really anything. He has penis envy like no one I have ever read and just is a complete pant load.

Ok DX. I won’t get into the other stuff but as someone who watched her shit show when she was setting up for the departure, she was fucking rude to the fans of LA. She was constantly bad mouthing the fans even though until she and Shaw tore the team apart, we had one of the highest attendances in the league. And she lied about everything leading up to her first attempt to get out, then had to threaten the NFL with a multi-billion dollar lawsuit to get them to lay down. You are simply very wrong there.

I found nothing offensive about the story. He could've ignored the Rams completely and simmered in jealousy by himself. But I skimmed through it because it was stuff I already knew.
