Plus, I think of one or two of the RB's as electric, transformational players.
I’m against The Rams Les Snead(Mcvay?). Snead in 2017 said there’s only one ball.

Mcvay is stating The Rams & feeling like 2017. Todd Gurley was going into his 3rd year on a 5 year contract.

The Rams don’t have an Andrew Whitworth FA(veteran) signing. For that matter a trusted LT? I’ll give him a questionable RG like Jamon Brown(Bruss?).
The Rams didn’t just sign a CB a Second Franchise Tag ,but paying Stafford $59 million vs $21 for Tru. Goff was basically a rookie & had NEVER won a Game in The NFL.
—I could go on & don’t see the Comparison like SEAN MCVAY is telling himself.Totally different team with a veteran Super Bowl winning coach cs a ROOKIE Youngest coach in NFL HISTORY.
So yeah SEAN (right).

—Point being I would have drafted Delivin Cook from FSU.Would not have traded back & taken Everett & JJ43.

Kupp - yes
The niners TE from Iowa as well.

The Rams needs are HUGE!!! I like Zach Charbonnet. IMO he is a durable RB that would add stability to The Rams running game.

I believe in a GREAT Pass Rush!!!
I also believe in the Run opens the Passing game up.I also think they both complement each other. This is a Franchise building player imo.

I like the kid from TCU to add to The Rams & draft like a Frosky from ND.I’d take the LT from Maryland probably before any of them ?

Missing draft picks HURTs. The Rams could have had draft picks & Jalen Hurt along with Jared Goff.I circled Hurt but thought he would last till Jefferson. Then again.
Trade up for Johnathan Taylor or taken Dobson & AJ Dillion in 2021. Malcom Brown & Gurley we’re done.

I could be wrong, but I think the distinction is that Akers began the season on the NFI list (Non-Football Injury). He tore his Achilles while he was on his own (training no doubt, but not part of team activities).

I think the Rams have the option to treat it like it was a bungee jumping accident (but maybe they won't).
He was on the roster though, he was paid for the season, was held against the salary cap. 'The designation of accrued season is designed for the street free agent who needs to be on a roster for at least 6 games in order to earn the accrued season, and also to penalize players who are holding out/refusing to report

The majority of draft analysts agree this draft is deep at RB, TE, and CB. There is an argument that all of the backs mentioned have the capability to at least match Cam Akers’ production, given the chance. They all have starter upside and most of the NFL is RB by committee now anyway.
Huh, other than the draft being deep at TE and CB (and edge!) I didn't read any of that about the RBs, that would be nice though!

I wouldn't be against Rams taking another RB but no higher than a 4th round pick. Akers will be a FA soon and he's spent a good majority either hurt or running hot and cold. Now wouldn't be a bad time to add depth to that room when Kyren is the last man standing after Akers walks in FA.

The spirit and the letter of the law are not always the same. If he was placed on the NFI list, then according to what you quoted from the CBA, he wouldn't have an accrued season. He wasn't on the PUP, injured reserve, or active/inactive lists until the last have of the season. The intent of the rule and the actual application of the rule appear to not match in this case.

Uhh...is that "Frosky" the Snowman you are referring to?
I've heard he melts under pressure but what do I know?

From Deadpool off another board....Here is Deadpool.

Thought I'd compare Jahmyr Gibbs to CMC and see how they stack up to one another. Its interesting.

Combine:

CMC:
5'-11"
202 lbs.
30" arms
9" hands

4.48 40
1.52 10 yard split
37.5" vert
10'-1" broad
6.57 3 cone
4.22 shuttle
10 reps 225

Gibbs:
5'-9"
199 lbs.
30 1/2" arms
9 1/4" hands

4.36 40
1.52 10 yard split
33.5" vert

So physically CMC is a 2" taller, outside of that, they are identical. Gibbs is faster overall, but their 10 yard split was identical so same burst. Gibbs didn't do the 3 cone, bench or short shuttle so no comparison on that. But basically from a size and athletic standpoint, they are as close to identical as you an get.

Final college season:
CMC: 6.3 yards per carry - Gibbs: 6.1 yards per carry
CMC: 37 catches for 310 yards, 8.4 yards per catch - Gibbs: 44 catches for 444 yards, 10.1 yards per catch

Again, both averaging a little over 6 yards per carry while adding substantial receiving numbers.

Both backs are obviously undersized. Both are excellent in both the run and pass game. Both are tremendous athletes and give LBers issues in space. So the question is: If CMC is an every down back, why couldn't Gibbs be an every down back?

Anyhow, I thought it was interesting when I dug into these guys how similar they are. I think Gibbs has more wiggle and long speed, I think CMC has better vision and is a tad more patient.

That said, would I draft Gibbs? No.Would I be mad if they did? Absolutely not. The Rams were in on CMC last season and McVay has been on record saying he wants to get he offense back on track. You connect the dots.

Well this might be fitting for yourself. Thanks for the correction though.

Isaiah Fosky is a player IMO is what The Rams need very much on defense.

Chris Long -
Grant Wistron -

They are the same type of players. Yes he needs to get bigger & learn to come of the Edge.He maybe a little stiff, but actually with Hoecht they can rotate from Right to Left & also play in rotations.

Hollins
T.Lewis
Ext.. we’re slow off the ball.

-BTW - trading back might be an option.I don’t know The value of players, but there are a couple different ways The Rams can go.

I want new blood at RB.

For me with Akers, I just don’t trust him.

The whole trade thing last year was just too weird for me. Akers also seemed to run harder after his return, which I hope was a mirage, but it looked that way effort-wise.
You nailed it. Frankly I’m amazed that Akers is still on the roster. An rb on his rookie contract who had a lot to prove but instead went on strike (apparently) in the middle of the season. Maybe he can make up for it but if I were McVay I would not be counting on him for much of anything.

And he still has a lot to prove on the field imo.

I really like this kid, Charbonnet. Looks like his style will definitely translate to the NFL.
If he's there in the 3rd round we gotta really consider taking him...

I agree. What jumps off the film with him; he keeps his legs churning thru contact and his balance is great. Very good traits for a Running Back!

Yep, he has the kind of style that just works in the NFL. I mean sometimes a RB just has to make their own yards and overcome poor blocking.
I think Charbonnet can do that...
