I may be incorrect here, but I believe Hitler blamed the Jews for Germanys' loss in WWI. Which led to his distain for the race.

He blamed the Jews for a lot of things. Losing that war was one of the many things. There is a good documentary on Netflix on WWII. Very interesting stuff I never knew. It has 10 episodes. I highly recommend it. If you have interest in WWII like I do, you would like this one.

Mine is more personal. My 2nd great Grandfather was temporarily living on the 3rd floor of the Perkins Hotel in Plattsmouth, Nebraska while his wife and children had moved to Omaha, anticipating his transfer by a couple of months.

He came to the room late one night, and the story told in the newspaper was that he felt ill and opened his window and then fell 40 plus feet to the ground. He hit a large ice box, which ws stored out side behind the hotel and it saved him, but he later lost his leg which a shattered beyond healing. One side of my family says that he was having an affair and may have been pushed out the window by the woman's jealous husband, the story of which was only told after my 2 greats Grandma passed.

I would be a fly on the wall in that hotel room to see what actually happened.

British Prime Minister Lloyd George warned his fellow leaders: "You may strip Germany of her colonies, reduce her armaments to a mere police force and her navy to that of a fifth-rate power; all the same in the end if she feels that she has been unjustly treated in the peace of 1919 she will find ways of exacting retribution from her conquerors."

However, I'll offer an alternate view as some historians believe that Germany could have paid the reparations, but of course, always sought to escape the payment of them and claimed they couldn't do so. We all know of the wheel barrows full of cash needed to buy a loaf of bread at one point, but the Weimar Republic was poised to make an economic turnaround before Hitler's rise to power.

As for how to stop Germany, they should have completed the victory in total war. The Armistice allowed Germany the illusion that the politicians sold them out, which Hitler utilized in his propaganda. Bismark let representatives of the new rulers (The Kaiser fled) surrender, when he should have done so. FDR and Chamberlain wanted to leave no such illusions after the 2nd World War.

Watch the Mongols breach the walls of the Chinese capital.

How the ancient cities in the Amazon jungle were in their prime.

So many amazing things and periods in history. I’m particular on Ancient Greek and more specifically ancient Roman cultures. It’s just amazing.
