First and foremost, since I joined in Jun 27, 2010 I disappeared into the abyss of Twitter and reappeared this year after I deleted Twitter. With that said, I thank you all for welcoming me as a "rookie" and have certainly enjoyed getting back into the groove and conversing with everyone. I look forward to many more playoff seasons celebrated with you all.

Secondly, hats off to McVay and his staff for having Wolford ready to go. I must admit, after the first pass interception, I though "Oh shit, here we go again" but he really, really settled down and made some big plays and was an absolute treat to watch. Sure, he had some misses, and some mistakes but so does every QB, veterans included. He played his ass off, he made plays, he extended plays and he stayed true and aggressive to throws downfield and I loved that. Dude has some serious wheels and vision.

Third, hats off to Jared Goff for being a great teammate to him on the sideline, I enjoyed seeing Goff jumping and celebrating, cheering the team on. Shows what kind of a teammate he is even if I question it sometime.

Fourth, hats off to Staley and the Defense. Played lights out, although it was against another backup, they didn't let up or let him be a hero.

Fifth, the Rams need to seriously consider paying Floyd. The dude has done nothing but play his ass off in coverage, in the run game, and rushing the passer. Sure, it may be the "Donald" effect, but if we can have Donald making plays at DT, Floyd making plays at EDGE, and Ramsey shutting things down on the backend, this Defense can continue to grow and become truly Elite with more pieces.

Some other quick thoughts;

Matt Gay needs to stay around for awhile.
Morgan Fox is real solid.
Van Jefferson is going to be good.
I've COOLED off on JJ3. Still good, but pay Floyd over him.
Fire the STC.
Where'd Hekker go?

Finally, Congrats to the team, and coaches for making the playoffs through a fair share of adversity and question marks. Now, go finish the job!

LETS FUCKING GOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TIME TO POUND SOME BUSCH LIGHTS NOW!!!!

Disagree with the JJ comment, but agree we need Floyd. Maybe give him the 1.25 mil bonus with a backroom handshake and get a 1 or two year contract done.

As much as I like JJ I think we have the horses to cover him if he leaves in rapp and fuller and burgess .. we have no one to replace floyd .. if it’s choice between the two I think floyd is the winner in the keep stakes I mean technically can we franchise tag floyd ? If it came to it

I wouldn't mind seeing Wolf coming in a few plays a game for a different look.

Kind of similar to what the Saints do with Hill?

Yeah, put him in a few plays, add a new wrinkle. Make Seattle have to game plan him.
Who knows he might start next week although I doubt it. Wait until the end of the week to announce our starter and make Seattle get ready for both of them.

I was thinking the same thing. It's not like the Rams give up much, if any of the playbook with the Wolf in there. Something else for the defense to have to adjust to.

It’s a tough call. Floyd and JJ are both B to B+ level players. I almost feel a
DE could be easier to fill than what JJ offers. We could maybe get him for less cash. Tough call. Though I don’t see much room to sign either.

If we can't sign them, I hope another team gives then nice, fat contracts. We could use more comp picks.

WE do a good job of picking up DLmen on one year prove it deals and collecting comp picks the next year when they are priced more than we can afford.

Nice mention of Morgan Fox - I like seeing the guy play. He has skill.

You're a tough grader. I'm giving Floyd an A for his performance this year. Sure he has AD and others around him, but to me Floyd appears to have done everything the Rams could have possibly hoped or expected him to do.

I like Jefferson too, but I agree with comments above that he is more expendable.

Agree that Floyd should be the priority over JJ if we have to decide between the two. D line is more important especially edge in a 3-4. Floyd has been real good in the run game too and with the rookie safeties and rapp JJ is expendable. Nice to see Fox healthy and making plays, he's earned more snaps as well as SJD and Gaines. This defense is so good I love having Jalen outside and look forward to him shutting down DK again next week.

You guys are sniffing glue if you think we're paying defensive players not named AD or Ramsey.
Plus we drafted replacements for Floyd and JJ. They'll get paid tho, just not by us.

Yeah I'm a little irritated that we paid Robinson and Brock. I don't like all the money in the DTs think that's some crazy shit. Brock's played up to it so glad they signed him and he's been a rock for this defense all year. ARob well I guess we'll see.

But since the cap seems to be a thing teams can warp as much as they want I'm not gonna sweat it too much outside of my priority being Floyd. You feel that dude every game. He brings it and it's not easy to find that rangy strength he has the guy's a bit of a freak.

Pay Floyd. Hope that Williams doesn't get signed away with a top tender so we can get one more year of him. And draft a fucking Center for the love of Christ. JJ is gone. We do need to sign Gay though I presume that won't be too tough.

Yea I'm with you on Floyd, he's got better size than Fowler and has made a bigger impact IMO. Excellent in the run game and I think he's a big part of why our run D is so much improved this year. I was super excited about ARob but he has been a total flop. Has been getting outplayed clearly by SJD and Gaines. I think he'll be gone next year. Brock has had a great year and is a captain on our defense, but depending on what happens with the 2021 cap reduction...if push comes to shove I think he might be one of the odd men out. I dont want to lose Brock but we could theoretically roll with our young interior DL. SJD, Fox, and Gaines is a good young group, plus we can draft another one late. Floyd has to be the priority over everyone on D. Agree that JJ and Everett are both gone, and we'll see what happens with Williams. Hope we can keep him but dont want to overpay and sign him to a long term deal. We draft secondary so well I think we should wait and see there. Hill has been balling out, and David Long hasn't shown anything yet in the NFL but he's only 22.

As much as I love what Floyd has done, I think the influence of #99 has had something to do with his success. He might not fare as well on another team.
See littleton and fowler.

Instead of doubling up on safeties, let’s spend a couple picks on edge players. Only this time, let’s not grab players who will start behind because they’re already banged up. Of all the players coming out, why do we insist on drafting guys with health issues?
I’m done with Oh-Oh, and Lewis would have only one more season to put his potential to work. That means staying on the field. I can handle a learning curve, but not being available for so much of the season just adds up to a lotta frustration and a roster spot possibly being put to better use.

...and I’m with Merlin on this one:DRAFT A FUCKING CENTER!

I’m so tired of saying this every year and then seeing starting Centers come into the league who were there for the taking in the draft.
