Here is my wish list of (non-Ram) players who are set to be unrestricted free agents.

And, yes, I know that there may be players on this list who would be difficult to fit under the cap. I’m also aware that several of these players will be re-signed and won’t hit the market. That said, these are the guys who I’d want the most (and yes, this list, like good amplifiers, goes to eleven):

1. Orlando Brown, OT, Chiefs
2. Mike McGlinchey, OT, 49ers
3. Isaac Seumalo, G, Eagles
4. Javon Hargrave, DT, Eagles
5. Yannick Ngakoue, EDGE, Colts
6. Da’ron Payne, DT, Commodes
7. Ethan Pocic, C, Browns
8. Garrett Bradbury, C, Vikings
9. Nate Davis, OG, Titans
10. Connor McGovern, C, Jets
11. Jesse Bates, S, Bengals

Should be an affordable vet CB 2 and something we need. Unless they think one of the younger guys will be able to step up into the role it's a need IMO on defense.

I like your list a lot. One of those OL and an edge and we are more free for BPA in the draft. A couple more I'd add, not necessarily higher then those you stated:

QB - Sam Darnold - Honestly think McVay could tap into his talent and groom him to be Staffords replacement. I like him better then Mayfield.

RB- Alexander Mattison - Great back up for Akers and shouldn't break the bank
or
RB- Kareem Hunt - Akers would be a great back up for him, but likely will cost considerably more

TE - Irv Smith Jr - oft injured but very talented. Would give us a dangerous 1/2 duo with Higs

Edge - Arden Key - Good bookend with Floyd, might come relatively cheap

McGlinchey and Brown Jr. are far and away my top hopes. Doubt we can afford either, but, if we could, I want one of those dudes. Preferably McGlinchey to stick it to whiners.

I just hope they sign a couple of their own free agents.......AShawn/Gaines and Scott. If there's money left over G. Bradbury from Minnesota. Then hit on the first few draft picks. Preferably Edge, TE, RB, OL, CB/S.

I think McGlinchey has only played Right Tackle, so don’t see a fit.

Think the Chiefs have to tag Orlando Brown, even if it’s just to move him.

Pocic never impressed me in his five seasons in Seattle; and, this season, he may have played between the best pair of starting guards in the NFL, in Bitonio and Teller.

Thought Bradberry was viewed as a disappointment prior to this season, and seems to have difficulty with power. Really tough to judge unless you watch an O-Line every week.

Like Nate Davis but the Rams usually avoid big, powerful interior OL. Maybe that has been a mistake.

Most, if not all, of these guys are likely to get really well paid.

I keep coming back to Eagles former first round pick Andre Dillard. Top reserve on one of the very best O-Lines in the NFL might look pretty good to the Rams.

Dillard never could secure the starting LT spot in Philadelphia but is a tackle/guard, and the Rams traditionally have liked college tackles that can play inside.

If Kelce went down, LG Dickerson probably moved over, with Dillard playing guard. If a guard or tackle was injured, I think Dillard would have gone in.

He could compete at LT, where the current options are both coming off season-ending IR; or start at guard.

No bargains here. Too many teams need offensive linemen.

B-T-W, my predictions on these type of moves almost NEVER happen.

We NEED an IOL FA. I think Nate Davis would be the right balance between cost and value. We could use a LT but Brown is out of reach and McGlinchey is a RT. I think Rams draft an EDge early but if not we need another starter so would need to go FA. Ngakoue would be great but too much $$$ so someone like Jerry Hughes might help.

IIRC, David Edwards played LT his senior year at Wisconsin. It's not uncommon that a college LT never plays that position in the NFL , though Edwards played a few snaps there in desperate times.

After looking into it more, Nate Davis might be a perfect FA signing. I can't imagine he will break the bank and he played pretty well last year according to PFF. We can definitely use some power on the inside to compete against the whiners. Not to mention the hags could very easily draft Jalen Carter for their interior DL. Davis would help that. I do honestly think OC is likely our biggest need if everyone comes back healthy. Cannot rely on the ALWAYS injured Allen anymore.

Did not know that. Was only thinking about his pro career. Should have checked.

Thank you
Yeah but a lot of LT in college move to the right or inside in the NFL. College LT doesn't mean he can be an NFL LT.

My FA wish? Bringing John Johnson III back after Cleveland likely cuts him.

Agree.

Still don't view McGlinchey as a good fit for the Rams but I posted that he had only played Right Tackle; and @AvengerRam corrected me. Maybe, YOU are OK making AvengerRam angry but not me. Dude is mean.

Yes but I was making the point that McGlinchey ... although a quality RT ... may not be a fit for the Rams because he had only played RT in the pros; and the Rams have Havenstein.

Aside ... always wondered whether Edwards might have been well suited for LT because he often struggled with power inside when DL would get under him and use leverage.
