Assuming the Rams restructure to get to $30m cap space. Assuming we don’t pick up any Rookies that can start week 1. We need OLT, Edge, ILB1, 5T, K, OC/OG, S. That’s 7 players. I feel the Rams will bring back Whit But it will cost $8m minimum. We have to have a quality ILB1. Which i’ll say will cost $6m minimum. That leaves $16m for 5 players. Which means we need to find players that are willing to sign for average if $3m.
We have guys on the roster now who are going to step up and start. We don’t have to replace all the missing starters from the FA pool.

We only have I think 4 picks next year. I seriously doubt we sign anybody that counts against the comp pick formula.

Kind of perturbed by the above. Prefer Blythe & Brock move on but as long as both are cheap I suppose it doesn't matter. Whit of course I have accepted even though I think it's continued kicking of the can.

Re: Fowler maybe this market is cool enough for him to opt to return. As I have mentioned multiple times I don't trust him with a big contract, but maybe a 3 year won't hurt as bad. His film from 2019 was very good so hard to blame the Rams there I suppose.

Thanks for the post. I didn't know what emoticon to hit.

I am good with Whit as you know.

Resigning Blythe could mean the Rams don't see Allen cutting it. (If Blythe resign is to play OC). Not a big fan but, I have been wondering if the injured ankle and shoulders hurt his play last year.

Brockers is a mystery. Plays the run well but, not great at pass rush. It could be a cheaper deal to stay. Stanley may like him too.

Fowler could get better. I don't see him as the type to slack off now that he found a place he likes to play at. Him, Brockers and AD seem to be pretty tight.

This could be part of the master plan with the Cooks possible trade. Could also be why the Rams didn't franchise tag Fowler.

At least they aren't going after Littleton which should make you happy.
