According to Kern County CHP, Westbrooks was arrested for receiving known stolen property, carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a loaded stolen weapon, grand theft of firearm and possessing a high capacity large magazine.

You might call these "felonies".

Me and Ethan Westbrooks just call it "Saturday Night".
Leaning more and more towards "he's an idiot"

Why is it so difficult for some people not to be a dumbass?

It's very hard for an Englishman to understand the whole gun thing.

You Americans need to chill out. We Brits aren't planning to invade anymore. We've accepted you're no longer part of the commonwealth.

Brexit 1776, bitch.

Sorry, the "bitch" part was unnecessary...

...ho

...you got broken into in Lexington? I didn't think that happened. I guess I could cite that I got my car broken into twice when I lived in Back Bay, and it's made me concerned ever since... but that was, like, a decade ago.

The night we moved in, it was the middle of summer. We hadnt even unpacked. We left all the windows open. They took 100 bucks out of my wallet and stole my giant Budweiser bank with about 200 dollars in cash lol. They left about 10K in electronics right there in the living room. The police said it was probably a junkie looking for cash for a fix.

Too much.....From the point of view of my boring life, I just don't get this crap. It's not that hard to straighten up and fly right......but whatever...
Let's face it.....in a lot of cases "boring" is good.
Too bad Westbrooks hasn't learned that truth yet.

At one point in my life I was going on about how boring my life since I quit drinking and partying, then I realized my life finally had some peacefulness in it.

He's a goner for sure.

Anyone know what the followout will be regarding his new extension? I would imagine it becomes null and void.

No I havent driven an unregistered car and lets be honest, there is a huge difference. Why would you carry a unregistered gun period? Unless he just bought and had not registered it yet. But I have never heard of anyone getting arrested for an unregistered gun if they have a LTC and receipt for the gun.

For the record, I never said anything about it being stolen or was used in a homicide.

Any gun owner will tell you there is little reason to be carrying a unregistered gun, unless you are bringing it home because you just bought it. I would be curious to know if he has a LTC in CA.

I wasn't trying to put words in your mouth - just suggesting that possession of an unregistered gun is fairly common and not always - or even often - malicious. In my experience, when people have unregistered guns - even stashes of them - it's because there is a fear out there that Uncle Sam is going to one day come to take them away. Doesn't sound like that was the situation here though.
