Nope. I like the mixing of egg yolk and catsup with the hashbrowns. I learned this as a kid when eating at a hotel restaraunt cafe when we were waitiing for our house to be finished. I was 11 years old and the hash brown with catsup, merged with the fried eggs and I loved the flavor. This was before I could be told by food nazi's that it was wrong...lol.

As for the steaks with heinz 57, of course they were just normal cuts of steak at a restaraunt. I did throw a bone toward you, with not putting heinz 57 on Ruth Kriss steaks!. But then, I can't go to that kind of high dollar steak house that often

Ok. This was at a really killer ice cream place in Hawaii. I think they had Kalua pork ice cream as well but this actually sounded interesting and it not only was, it was KILLER! There's probably not a one of you who has not loved some strawberry cheesecake ice cream. This was similar but WAY more intense.

I don't go to those ridiculous priced restaurants either. Well - not steak houses anyway - but I know a steak. And NO GOOD STEAK..... NO good steak should have that shit sauce put on it. It's not just wrong. It's uber wrong. That shit was developed when people were eating chuck steak and thinking that was a fine cut.

Yeah.. I may be a meat snob and I'll wear that moniker proudly. But 57 is a sauce I wouldn't allow in my restaurant and when people tasted my steaks, they understood why. It is a sauce for shitty steaks. Plain and simple. Now if you go to a place that is afraid of seasoning their steaks, that's on them. Don't go there. But FFS, that sauce is not helping a properly seasoned and prepared steak - which should also be done MR at the most well done.
