I was just going to say that he wasn’t any good 3 years ago. What could he possibly contribute now ?Am I only one who remembers how awful Weddle was in the 2019 season?

We are starting to see cracks in the Cap managing, draft formula theory. Depth and even starters at Safety are not adequate. This means they think signing someone of the street is better than trusting Nick Scott and Rapp for the postseason run lol.
The last 9ers TD drive was all they needed to see. That deep pass to Deebo where Nick Scott completely whiffed, and the miscommunication between Rapp and Scott resulting in a wide open TD pass in the middle of the field.
My sentiments on it.You all are such Debbie Downers it must suk to be a fan like you, I choose to beleive this was a move for depth bringing in a quality guy who is very bright, and if nothing else can help the younger guys....
Always Glass half full guy.....
Yeah. Fuck that guy. He’s gonna pull his hamstring in his first game back.Just saw Eric Weddle is unretiring to play for us in playoffs.
So ridiculous.
We already have someone to call the defense. Raheem Morris. We might as well put his ass out there in center field if we just gonna throw shit on the wall.Den I don't think they have one guy back there on the depth chart who can...
1. Call the defense.
2. Serve as a lynchpin on the back end.
Weddle was shitty in space before his retirement so I don't think he moves the bar on #2. But he should be able to call the defense so that guys like Ramsey don't have to do it. Ramsey just needs to focus on erasing one threat per snap. Just do that well 5.
I think this signing demonstrates everything went to shit in that secondary the moment 4 went out of the game. It was a leadership void.
You joke but it's probably about the same effect. We already have someone to call the defense. Raheem Morris. We might as well put his ass out there in center field if we just gonna throw shit on the wall.
I think what we are seeing is the wear and tear and freak injuries of a longer season. If they are healthy we aren’t discussing any of this.We are starting to see cracks in the Cap managing, draft formula theory. Depth and even starters at Safety are not adequate.
I'm sure this is purely for depth. He knows the system in case of emergency. Lets not overreact fellas
