Let's not forget Pat Thomas, Rod Perry, Gary Green (I remember Green picking off Montana in a late season win), Michael Stewart, James Washington, Anthony Newman. I would like to believe Pat Thomas and Rod Perry took a young Leroy Irvin under their wing and that helped him. Dude had 35 career interceptions (and 4 in the postseason!!). The only year he didn't pick off a pass was the strike shortened 1982 season. At least he had one of his 4 career PR TD that season!!! One of my favorite Ram players.Leroy Irvin played with some Ram greats in the secondary, as well as with Jack Youngblood, Fred Dryer, Hacksaw Reynolds, Ferragamo and ED.
During LeRoy Irvin's tenure with the Los Angeles Rams from 1980 to 1989, he played alongside a standout secondary that featured notable defensive backs such as: [1, 2, 3, 4]
