Robert Rochell was one of my secondary picks after my favorite Asante Samuel Jr and I'm still pulling for him to put it all together.
Yea man no doubt. The kid has ALL of the physical gifts for a stud CB.
All he needs is his nose in the film room and live reps. Wonder if Weddle is available to teach
some of our young DB's the Art of film study.

I've got high hopes for Robert as well.

He was going to be a yard to two yards short
Yea it was caught short but not all of our DB's would be a lock to stop it dead.
Scott on the other hand was going to send him to little birdie land.

I get this POV.... but I also know McVay and Snead aren't Linehan and Devanney.

McVay has went out of his way to show how much he values guys with real SPEED. Brandon Cooks, DJax, Tutu... clearly McVay isn't looking for another Woods/Kupp. He wants at least 1 guy who can burn the secondary. He needs to be able to go stupid fast, track the ball and catch it.
Tutu showed he can do those things and because McVay and Sneed must've agreed that they want/need that and agreed Atwell could provide it, I'm going to put just a little trust in the World Champion Rams to know what they are doing.

I'm also not giving up on a rookie.

He will always be tiny. Anyone holding out for bigger Tutu should get that idea out of their head. He's a gadget piece. But if he can work out, his few targets a game could have big dividends...
Well said and thanks for responding. Saved me the trouble. :beer2:
That's on point he can get down the field quicker than anyone on the team
and has very good ball tracking ability and hands.
Mcvay will make use of this toy.

Hoped he was an upgrade over Kiser. Turns out he is. I wondered about his weight and speed. Great football IQ and leader at South Carolina playing in the SEC. Rams scouts did their homework asking his coaches about him being a leader etc...

Nice video scouting report in the link by Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network.
A few of those things they had listed under weaknesses are just flat out not true.
They spoke as if he moves like mud.
That's not the LB I have been watching.
Of course I don't think they put the time in their evaluations like Snead and Co.
Too many prospects for one man to evaluate properly.

The analyst/author is Lance Zierlein who is getting a ton of air time on the NFL Network as a draft expert.

Never been a big fan of Lance Zierlein; and this Draft Profile just reinforces my opinion.

The Rams had key players out last season and still got it done. Players like Earnest Jones.
Go Rams run it back.
