Understandable.Dane Brugler said NFL people say Tyler Warren won’t go inside the top 20.
Main points being he’s a Tight End and he’s not Brock Bowers.
But 56% of Warrens yards came after contact. He’s tough and will block.
He has Loveland closely rated, but calls him a big WR with speed. Won’t block much.

Honestly his running style reminds me a lot of KW he doesn't go down at first contact almost ever which is rare for a guy with this kind of speed. There's a lot of hard running and there's also a lot of runs from say 25 yards out where KW or Corum get 10-15 and we have a 1st and goal but Tuten gets in the end zone. Yes competition yes college but he's got the speed seems to have the contact balance and I really like this kid.

Most of his passing game seems to be screens and he does them well though this play here in the above clip is a nice catch behind him on the back shoulder, he's not lined up outside though. I've also seen a couple plays where they line him up wide and do an end around with him. I think in 2 years only had 50 receptions.

He's capable of blocking and even did it very well in the Senior Bowl.I think the big negative on Tuten though by evaluators is his lack of pass blocking. Maybe that’s why he’s not considered higher than other RBs. If so, you’d have to think it’s unlikely the rams go for him. Then again, he’d have a year or two to learn that skill before being needed as a FT back. Early on could be a change of pace occasional speed back guy. I just don’t see them going that direction for him unless it’s a late (6) round pick.
Fingers crossed. Not having a productive threat at TE for about 3/4 of the season hurt.Dane Brugler said NFL people say Tyler Warren won’t go inside the top 20.

Would love to get Michael Mayer from the Raiders for a mid-round pick. I know he hasn't been playing much; Brock Bowers basically stole all of his snaps, and he had a mental health issue. But if he's right, you have yourself a potentially great all-around 6'5" monster who can catch, block, and run with the best of them.Fingers crossed. Well, there you go invigorating what was a waning outlook on Davis Allen. He just didn’t get the targets I had hoped he would during Higbee’s absence and he missed too many blocks.Would love to get Michael Mayer from the Raiders for a mid-round pick. The only issue I have with tight ends is that unless they're Bowers or LaPorta, they're not going to produce immediately. Even Travis Kelce and Greg Olsen didn't produce immediately. I wouldn't mind taking a chance on someone who's a bit older than a draft pick, but has potential and is still young.
I think that Allen looks too stiff to be a big time producer at tight end. He moves like a longer awkward high school kid more than he does a great NFL tight end. The Rams need more speed and lateral agility with Allen’s catch radius and hands.Well, there you go invigorating what was a waning outlook on Davis Allen. Year 3? Allen coming around would be a welcome surprise.
That’s what caught my eye when I viewed his highlights—his radius coupled with what appeared to be excellent hands. He showed just that in preseason.
