I am not guaranteeing that the team is looking past us, but the fans certainly are. Let's just say there is 10 times more discussion about the 1 seed & the Lions than talking about the Rams this week. That tends to bleed over to the team since a number of players have radio shows that interact with the fans.

I am just saying had they lost last week, there would be a much different feel to this game from their perspective.
I’m in total agreement however if there is a coach who rides on emotion it’s Sirianni.

This is going to be a tall task for the Rams. The Eagles are peaking so that can be good and bad for us. If they've reached the top of the peak teams tend to have a one or two game skid before they start an upward trajectory again. The Rams haven't really found their peak yet, with inconsistent play this season which is why they are 5-5. If the team that showed up vs Minnesota shows up on SNF then the Rams have a fighting chance. If the team that shows up vs. the Bear, Raiders, or Dolphins then it will be a long evening.

I'm looking at the next 3 to 4 weeks for the Rams to really show us who they are. Are they are playoff contender? Or are they too young of a team devoid of needed talent at key positions? Well we're about to find out.

You raise an interesting point: a team’s peak.

The Rams could be entering/in theirs as well.
The viking game was their best and the one we have been waiting for to jumpstart a run. The seahawk game was typical—Frustrating and tough with some big plays by both sides sprinkled in throughout. Hasn’t that been the way most Rams/hawks games go, regardless of records? The dolphins game was definitely the skid mark. The Rams bounced back last week despite it being a cross country road game with an early start.

They’re back on track, at home, facing one of the top teams who appear to be in THEIR groove. The question then becomes whether or not the Rams’ peak is good enough.

Tune in Sunday night!

If we are going to upset a team, Eagles would be the one that we can. They have not Faced many decent teams. They are coming off a Mini Bye A team we face coming off a bye or mini bye? Nah Never!
Upset? Nah...I don't think so. Granted, Philly has the better record, but you take Barkley and Brown away, that would be closely equal to taking Puca and Kupp from the Rams.

I think after the Dolphins game, McVay has learned DON'T MESS WITH THE OLINE!!! The real question is in the play of the Rams defense... and they have really turned it up a notch.

The odds have the Rams -3 at home. I would argue the odds (which are "what have you done lately") should be even at best.

Outright, I'm saying the Rams win 26-20. I simply believe offensively the Rams are better now.

Can anybody stop the Tush Push?

other than keeping out of that short yardage situation, how can they be stopped?
Clobber him (hurts), just clobber him.
He’s a RB on that play. Take him head on with full force. That won’t stop him from getting one yard…the first couple of times, but sooner or later, he’s gonna be thinking twice or seeing double.

This is a pivotal game. No sense in playing soft. Like the old coach used to say, “you can’t ease into a street fight.”

I agree but I can't believe it hasn't been thought of. The D just doesn't seem to be able to get the hit.

Firstly - I hate the Butt Plug/Tush Push/Ass Grab It’s a damn rugby play. Not a football play.
But to add insult to injury - I have Barkley on my FF Team and those mfers Sirini/Hurts have stolen 6-7 TDs from Barkley with that play this year.
There - I feel. Better!!

It's an illness.
Normally I wouldn't be worried about it except our punter just missed a game due to illness after missing most of the week of practice before the game. Hopefully nothing as serious because that would suck to lose our best guard against this dline.

Every game, our rookies and 2nd year players are getting better. With the Oline complete with Big Rob, Stafford is about as good as it gets throwing the ball. Of course we can win. Would prefer a fast start for a change.
That's what she said ~ every girl I've dated :wow2:
