If two DBs like that were available, we should absolutely do it. Those guys are great.I wouldn't go that far and say we shouldn't spend the first 2 picks on DB. I totally get why we most likely won't, but the unknown is what do we do in free agency and how do the Rams view this draft class. If 2 DBs that are high on their board are there for the taking, I wouldn't be opposed to it. Our defensive line has pass rushing chops big time and we do have a huge need there. Williams is not in the future plans, Durant is ok but coming up on a contract, Witherspoon is a FA again, and we had one rookie play well there and pretty much just a bunch of Jags after that. It's a possibility to me because of the fact that Snead sometimes likes to double dip at positions of need. I do find it more possible that we may spend a high pick there and a later one again, but it's anyone's guess.
And it's not just luck, Roseman is one of the best to ever do it. Constantly dealing for more picks all the time and more shots at the apple. Similar to the Rams (though he seems more willing to grab picks in later years in trade downs than the Rams).
It's a masterclass. The trade down with later year picks was the key.And it's not just luck, Roseman is one of the best to ever do it. No, but some of it is. Like the things I mentioned. He never gets close enough to pick Carter if he doesn’t get arrested. And it's not just luck, Roseman is one of the best to ever do it. Yup, two things are true at once. No, but some of it is. Like the things I mentioned. He never gets close enough to pick Carter if he doesn’t get arrested.
Mitchell and DeJean aren’t likely to be there that late in most drafts.
And having Barkley fall in their lap, was predictably stupid by the Giants.
WItherspoon is a must resign. He's a versatile player who flashes as a top tier CB, at times. He has his moments and lapses, but he is an absolute must.I've said it many times before and will keep saying it, you can never have enough CBs. Retain Witherspoon and grab another via FA or draft.
Anyone know why we didn't resign him last year?WItherspoon is a must resign. He's a versatile player who flashes as a top tier CB, at times. He has his moments and lapses, but he is an absolute must.
Salary cap is my genetic guess.Anyone know why we didn't resign him last year?
He was a street guy, no one else wanted him? And didn't we sign him back for peanuts? And compared to White?Salary cap is my genetic guess.
Bring back AK-44 and cut DWill.WItherspoon is a must resign. He's a versatile player who flashes as a top tier CB, at times. He has his moments and lapses, but he is an absolute must.
And Wentz sucked. Terrible trade for Indy.
I think you meant geriatric.Salary cap is my genetic guess.
They're a stupid team as it pertains to QBs.And Wentz sucked. Terrible trade for Indy.
