I didn't see many misses on 3rd down in the first half. I don't see a bunch of missed easy throws every game. I also don't see passes short of the sticks....Saw a bunch of those from us....our QB.
The worst pass of the game was a throw to a wide open receiver....that hit a defensive lineman/linebacker in his hands...a short, simple throw. No pressure. It was thrown by Goff. Of course...IMO.

Wentz has a tendency to miss those easy throws, it's been there all year. I literally just used the same comparison's that Kurt Warner did when he was asked to evaluate Goff and Wentz. The exact same one. He said that Wentz had a habit of missing easy throws that Goff can make, but he can hit those wow throws that Goff typically doesn't (Goff doesn't have that type of play style).
So unless you know more than Kurt Warner about how to play QB in the NFL, I'll stick with his observation.

Yesterday...he didn't....a week ago, in Seattle that appeared to be the case.
I don't know more than Kurt....I'm also not influenced by his internal biases either.
My point is, several things young QB's do...can be coached up or out.....Some things they do, can't be coached at all. Missing open targets is a correctable flaw....adding velocity to your throws isn't.
I don't know what Kurt said about yesterdays game...if he had anything negative to say about Wentz's first half, I'll call it right here, he's hating.
So the local radio show (morning WIP) had a little prayer session @ 9:30 this morning for Carson Wentz and his knee. They were trying to be positive but, it wasn't working to well. The Foles mini debates (too early in the grieving process) were mixed but not positive for the most part . Too bad for Wentz getting hurt. Not so much for the obnoxious radio host in the AM. (Love affair with Wentz). I want to see the game again. Wentz played well. It would have been a real hard time to listen to these guys after the Rams let one slip away had they not had to dial it back because of the injury.
The Eagles can win some games with Foles. They have a great running game and will have to make adjustments. Pederson knows what Foles can and can't do which will be a big help to Foles. They play the Giants, Raiders and then the Cowboys. Should be interesting.

Los Angeles for letting our Home game turn into an Away game, what a fucking joke. Los Angeles doesn't deserve a football team.
Wentz blew away Goff? No he didn't.
Wentz only completed 56% of his passes.We put zero pressure on Wentz.
He had receivers open all over the field.
Under these ideal circumstances he completes 56%?
Not to mention the really bad PI calls and the Unsportsmanlike call that was insane.
How many of those drives succeed without help from the refs?
Not saying Wentz didn't play well,he did.but to say he blew Goff away is BS.
If Goff would have been playing for the Eagles, the game would have been over by halftime.
And no Goff "doesn't have those legs",but Wentz doesn't have Goffs accuracy and never will.

Calm your tits. It’s going to take a while to get the fan base going, some winning seasons and your always always always going to have this issue in LA regardless of the team. To many transplants and it’s vacation central. To much things for people to do besides the hand when they visit, they can hit everything up at the same visit of 3-5 days.

slo down dude, Rams camped in L A with Fisher and a lousy team last season, bad vibes and a 4-12 season didn't impress fans, the fans that were pizzed off about the move to St Louis. It will take more than one season to get over it

Warner liked Wentz, there was nothing wrong in his report, he had high praise for both quarterbacks. He just pointed out a trend, one that was pointed out earlier as well (it was very obvious in the Seattle game, so it got brought up more)... As far as I know that Kurt Warner hasn't made any observations on the game yesterday or either QB's play. He made his observation before the game when asked to break down the opposing QB's.
There's nothing to suggest Wentz can't be coached up, in fact that's exactly what I was saying. I'm really not sure why you're getting so defensive about it, I expect Wentz to become a better QB because I think he's going to learn how to play more from the pocket in order to protect himself more. Dude gets hit a lot.
Also don't know what you're trying to suggest about velocity given that it's been measured that Goff can get more velocity on his throws than Wentz. Not by much of course (I believe it was 1-2 MPH), but he could. And of course Goff has the longest air yard completion in the NFL this year, so he's got plenty of velocity. Goff can make every throw he needs, just like Wentz. As Goff develops he'll get faster and improve on his ability to improvise, as Wentz develops he'll get faster and improve on his ability to play from within the pocket and protect himself. Both of them have a lot of development to do, they always did. The pre-draft debate was "Wentz is more pro-ready and Goff has a higher ceiling".. If Goff can reach that ceiling he'll be the better QB, if he can't Wentz will, simple as that. McVay's job is to help get Goff to that ceiling, so far he's done a lot as the gap that seemed as wide as the Grand Canyon suddenly looks like it's a crack in the sidewalk.

Totally different. Wilson scrambled to avoid pressure and slides or hoes out of bounds. Wentz runs like he is a RB
It doesn’t matter if he is not accurate on long passes
He misses on longer throws
