Something about Cam Newton reminds me of Kurt Warner -- just some of his mannerisms are very similar.

Anyone else see it or do I need to adjust my helmet?

My top 10 QB list
  1. Tom Brady
  2. Drew Brees
  3. Aaron Rodgers
  4. Patrick Mahomes
  5. Jared Goff
  6. Russell Wilson
  7. Andrew Luck
  8. Phillip Rivers
  9. Matt Ryan
  10. Ben Roethlisberger
Any top whatever list should be based off 2 years of play. It doesn’t matter what Russell Wilson did 5 years ago. He hasn’t won more then 10 games since the Super Bowl season. I base rankings off healthiness, production and wins. Regardless of your environment.

That is why I only see Kurt as a Cardinal. Goff easily ranks above most of the guys on the list.

Everybody's got their opinions about quarterbacks. Really means nothing. Looks like Warner's list is mostly established veteran quarterbacks aside from Mahomes who was the MVP. If he's got Cam Newton on that list he's definitely using using past accomplishments. Because today I don't think he's top 15.

There is no way I would rank Newton in the top 10. Hell Goff is better and should be in the rankings if you are going to include Newton. Mahomes!!?? He's only had one year! No body of work to show he can play at that level consistently. Pre-injury Andrew Luck and you would have no argument from me. But he hasn't proved he's all the way back. He was a great QB pre-injury and right now he's a good QB, who has a long way to go to get back to where he was.

Sorry Kurt but too many assumptions about the future.

I strongly disagree with this. Mahomes was so unbelievably transcendent last year that you have to have him on this list. Even if he doesn't perform at that level consistently, if he comes down a notch or even two he's still as good as anyone else.

Andrew Luck had statistically his best season last year for an impressive squad that won a playoff game. He should actually be higher imo.

Newton is the only one I would disagree with. Goff is probably in that 10th spot sort of range for QBs at this point - which is still really pretty good.

What cracks me up about any list like this is they never start with the order of things. Before they start ranking they should identify what the most important measurables are and prioritize them, then order them however they feel is best. THEN crunch the QB numbers and see how things look.

Most of these clowns start with Super Bowl wins or Playoff appearances etc. Then get into use of yards or TDs or passer rating to try to backup their biased BS.
