I wish I understood Spanish. This guy is more fun to listen too than JB.

When I watch Penn State games I often turn on the radio and mute the TV. The TV crew never has the same amount of detail as the homers do.

I believe that there is an app that synchs them if watching on the phone.

I swear there is an app for everything now! lol

Honestly the way I picked it back up was by downloading a few free apps and learning basic words and phrases. Then build off there. Watch or listen to spanish music. Work on the pronunciation. Idk if it’s an option but I got on a dating app to type to others and that’s what helped immensely. Just like English speaking countries there are different words/accents depending where you are talking to the person from. That is a tough part! lol shit I been in the UK drinking with dudes at the pub and had to stop them “ wait, WTH did you just say?” lol

Ps everybody’s mental (brain chemistry) is different and felt mine slowing done working for a degree again in recent years but the particular pills that helped me immensely to ge track that edge was Alpha Brain. A bit expensive but for me personally, they make a huuuuge difference!

Once he was discovered he got a job at the local UN. Some people have a knack for it. I wish I did. My uncle was a translator in WWII in the Pacific. He spoke seven languages. That skill hasn’t been passed onto anyone in our family.

I had a Mexican girlfriend while I lived in Chicago. She had no interest in teaching me Spanish. I think she refused because she enjoyed speaking Spanish to me when we argued.

Once he was discovered he got a job at the local UN. Some people have a knack for it. I wish I did. My uncle was a translator in WWII in the Pacific. He spoke seven languages. That skill hasn’t been passed onto anyone in our family.

DoD has a language test (DLAB) that checks whether you have the gift for picking up languages. I had a kid who was one of my best technicians get snapped up for a Crypto rating, who spoke only English but when I saw him a year later he was fluent in Chinese. Fucking strange.

Foreign chicks are the best. So down to earth compared to the ones in the US. I always tell my wife (US) if she ever wises up and divorces me I'll go get a foreign chick half her age. Though making the decision between South American and Asian chicks is a tough one boy.

Yeah it is probably the DLAB. It throws a fictitious language at you basically. Complete gobbledeegook.

Language types get some great duty btw. But you gotta speak what they want to open up those spots for each region. So for anyone with kids Spanish is great because of the regional coverage. They prioritize native speakers of course but if you are fluent in Spanish you can have some great duty. Spain, Mexico, South America... That's the life boy.
