I am not so sure as Brady will be 46 and I don't believe he'll be that good, however, I could see it similar to Payton Manning with Denver. I don't believe Brady will go to Vegas if San Francisco is an option because he knows how close they are and won't have to battle Mahomes & Herbert, who are much better QB's at this stage of their carrers.
Agree with you about staying-out of the AFC West, and that Brady is in decline. As for the Manning comparison, I sure hope it would not be the similar. Manning had 92 TD passes his first two seasons in Denver.

I just think ... and would LOVE to be wrong ... that Brady would be a major up-grade at QB to a team that I absolutely hate but objectively see as loaded with talent except at Quarterback.

I have posted the following thought several times in the past.
While I understand and share in Hatred of the 49ers, I am often surprised and confused for the lack of respect.
As just one example, there was a post from earlier today about the Niners where a really good poster, in summarizing their offense, wrote they have 'a good TE' . I dislike George Kittle but would you describe him as just 'good' ? I would not.

Brady isn't the Brady he used to be. But he'd still be an upgrade over what they whiners currently have. I hope he goes to the Raiders.
If you added Brady to SF it would make them immensely better. So yeah I hope it doesn't happen. Thing about Brady is his focus. The guy is competitive as hell and would give that offense what it lacks in the big games.

But I agree Vegas makes a lot of sense for him. He steps right in day one as the guy with the plan in that offense he knows so well. In SF he would need to learn the WCO goobledeegook. Vegas he is plug 'n play.

Josh Johnson did a great job in that "plug and play" offense....
You mean the 4th string plug n play guy who got knocked out of the game?

Some JAG’s are better than others. What’s the name of that other Niner JAG QB that won a game vs our guys last year(?) or maybe it was 2020…

Nick Mullins.....an absolute nobody who produced one of the most embarrassing losses of the McVay regime.

Brady definitely is an improvement- even if he’s in decline. Quick release, dink/dunk passing scheme, very good OL and running game - good match.

But for them, I’d worry about his lack of running ability. That takes away some of that offense. Also, he’d require a decent amount of money/cap space even if he took a discount. That’ll require some difficult cap decisions for a team that already has many to deal with this offseason. Even if they push some cap out, that hurts them the following years.

An old Brady. CMC ready to get hurt at any moment. 17 games is long and playoffs. Asking a lot to last all season with those guys.

I might be more concerned with them with a cheap cap hit QB who can run and make plays.

Thats how bad Manning was in his last season. He went from the record setting, 1st ballot HOF QB to a guy getting BENCHED for Brock Osweiler.
Benched
For performance not injury
Ironically got a ring while playing his worst, that we dont need to see.....

Brady to the whiners? Bring it on. AD will feast on his lack of mobility.
