That’s a big timeline. Purdy is young, and I think I read this was what Jake Delhomme had in his career and bounced back.
One of those true story book potentials turning out horrible for this young man.

Just like Crapernick, unproven QB with not enough tape to see his weaknesses to attempt and exploit.

He could be the next Tom Brady but may never know now.

Man do I feel bad for the kid.

Between Yimmy and Trey Lance they traded a 2nd, two 1sts, a 3rd + Trent Williams for a 3rd and a 5th, + Christian McCaffery for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th round picks.

With no Super Bowls. Not even a fuckin appearance.

YET NO ONE SAYS A GODDAMN THING ABOUT THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S ONLY THE FUCKIN RAMS THAT TRADE AWAY ALL THEIR PICKS!

GET FUCKED ASSHOLES.

Edit I forgot about their appearance vs KC. That's why nobody remembers 2nd place. Lol get fucked.

Gotta admire going from Mr. Irrelevant to a starter.
Meh. I think they've made it into a bigger story than it warranted. With SF's run game and defense, Joe Germaine could have won a couple of games! Fitzmagic went from #250 pick to starter because he brought a bad Rams team back from a 24-3 deficit vs Houston! And also because the first two guys were injured......which is why Purdy got a shot. I was more impressed with Josh Johnson being inactive 5 of the last 8 years and playing in a postseason game at age 36

Even with the defense, run game, and great offensive mind, Purdy still made the plays asked of him. I can dislike SF and still respect the difficulty of doing what he did. And since you brought up Fitzpatrick, that guy had a hella impressive career for a QB drafted where he was.

If Jalen Hurts is healthy, the Eagles will be a tall order for the whiners. The Eagles have a strong O-line and a mobile QB. Two things that whiners usually struggle with. And hopefully, if the whiners reach the SB, then Mahomes and the Chefs make it because a healthy Mahomes will give the whiners fits.
speak o wise one

It’s a plug n play system, clearly. Props to Shanny for that.
No doubt. But a system that works great until your run game gets stuffed. Then it's QB exposure time. Our offense is very similar but McVay & Stafford are better at living off the pass when the run game isn't there.

I'm impressed by Philly's defense. They won a lot in the trenches and shut that run game down enough to expose the QB to the rush. And the best thing about all this is they still don't know if their QB is good enough to win next time they face a bigtime defense in the playoffs.

Wouldn't you love to be an offensive coordinator and design your offense around a guy like Brock Purdy?
IDK, didn't think much of him when he was at Iowa State besides being a gamer, however, he did win 7 straight games in the NFL and had good stats also. Hopefully as a 49er those days are gone.

The praise for Purdy, was quite wordy, but it turns out he wasn’t, all that sturdy. Should saying so make me feel dirty, or is this rhyme merely nerdy?
I wonder how he'll respond being built like a birdy then when he turns thirty, however, I won't judge him this early because that would be unworthy.

Fuck that guy, hope he eats salty nuts til he's thirsty, his elbow got snapped like slim Jim jerky, tears from Whiner fans everywhere are bursting, another failed year has them cursing, no Superbowl for you jive ass turkeys!

Meh, I think he’s just another Shanny hand picked guy who is accurate, careful with the football, can throw the slant and hand it to the backs.

I give Shanny props. His QB’s are quality JAG’s but he’s yet to acquire a Super Bowl caliber guy.

Brady isn't the Brady he used to be. But he'd still be an upgrade over what they whiners currently have. I hope he goes to the Raiders.

Agree but the Niners are formidable, with average QB-play. Brady would be a problem.

Hear Las Vegas as a landing spot from some people but outside of McDaniels and talent at the skill positions, I just don't see the Raiders as a good fit for Brady. O-Line in general and the interior-OL is very average, as is the defense. Tough Division and the tougher Conference. If it's about winning a Super Bowl, the 49ers make too much sense.

I hate the idea of SF improving, and I think Brady would be an improvement, but it seems like very possible.

I am not so sure as Brady will be 46 and I don't believe he'll be that good, however, I could see it similar to Payton Manning with Denver. I don't believe Brady will go to Vegas if San Francisco is an option because he knows how close they are and won't have to battle Mahomes & Herbert, who are much better QB's at this stage of their carrers.
