I rarely give different opinions but I just had to on this one.
Goff and Kupp have consistently shown that they are on the same page with each other. Time after time Goff will hit Kupp in stride. With Reynolds, Goff rarely hit him in stride. Throughout the year, I felt Goff and Reynolds just were not on the same page. Goff would think Reynolds is going one way and sure enough Reynolds would turn the other way and Goff would throw behind Reynolds.
Goff throws behind to Cooks and Woods only once in awhile. And almost never did to Kupp. Go back and watch his throws to all the receivers during the year. The only time Goff was frequently behind in his throws or off target by more than a couple yards were throws to Reynolds.
With Kupp (and not even a healthy Gurley), we win handily if we hold the patriots to 3 points thru the middle of the 4th.
With Kupp we score 13 to 21 points minimum in the first half.
