And speaking of St. Louis...I knew there were going to be some fans that stopped watching Rams football when the team left for LA....But I never thought pretty much the entire city would drop the team. I think me and 3 of my buddies are the only Rams fans left in the St. Louis area lol
I think there are a couple more than that....like Gordo, Bernie M., Randy Karricker...

Long was on the radio he didn't side with the Patriots. He was neutral. Not many Rams remaining from his days here. He had good things to say about Donald. Haven't heard anything from Danny A. He was one of not many weapons the Rams had. Both are favorites of mine.

I saw warner talking with Willy McGinnis about Superbowl 36 and Willy and the host were kinda rubbing it in as they showed warner getting sacked and then slamming the ball on the turf.

The host gave him the business about unflappable Kurt showing major frustration and by the time this brutal segment was ending and the host told Kurt he could have the last word, I wanted Kurt to say "well, you cheated" and then just left it at that.

Yes, I saw that one too. Kurt wouldn't say shit, if he had a mouthful.

Meh, I don't get the rooting for former Rams players after they're gone.

F Chris Long. He was the reason we lost vs the Eagles at home in the 2017 season, which contributed to us falling out of the bye week consideration and the Eagles getting home field. Dude is dead to me.

I wouldn't respect any player who didn't try his hardest for whichever team he is suiting up for.

It's a business.
Amendola was let go by the Rams.
Long was injured when the Rams let him go.
Amendola had a good short run with the Rams on bad teams.
Long was very good for most of his time with the Rams.
I would have left too if I were Long (not that the Rams gave him a choice). There were no prospects of improvement. For a high effort guy like Long that was probably maddening.
Why would anyone ask Amendola how the Rams could beat NE? He has no ties at all to this Rams team.
Would be like asking Steve Grogan about prepping for a big game with McDaniels.

Well both of them have more friends on the Pats than on the Rams. Only Saffold and Brockers played with them, right?

Chris Long has a ton of former teammates still on the team...probably over half the team still.

Gurley, Donald, Saffold, Brockers, GZ, Hekker, Havenstein, Barron, Joyner, Westbrooks, McQuaide, Hager....I'm sure I'm missing some.

I gotta say, this is much ado about nothing. Both players played for some pretty bad Rams teams and left to find success elsewhere. Chris has said some pretty cool things to say about this team. I haven't really payed much attention to what DA has to say but does it really surprise you that he would side with a team where he played the most seasons, went to the playoffs every year, and won 2 SBs?
It's just a shame that guys like SJAX, especially SJAX, who gave his heart and soul to the St Louis Rams.....a guy whose career was, by and large, swallowed by the horrible after-GSOT years and to say he doesn't have an NFL home because his team moved to LA, is beyond bad.
SJax? He's all about the LA Rams. I'm not sure where you are getting this. He was at all the presentation events with the new stadium, and has been at many other Rams events since they made the move. I'd have to see that quote and what it was really about to buy that. He's been very involved since the move.

The reference to SJAX had to do with the idea of why care about a guy after he's gone, from OldSchool, not about a former player picking against the Rams in the Super Bowl.

I think Old School was talking more about players that go to other teams - not former Rams greats. Just my guess. But then I'm sure his avatar is JY because he's dead to him.
