????? What did I miss???
Just curious why the not sure rating on the coaches and players didn’t execute and they’re all at fault for the loss. Just looking to see if there was some difference of opinion to discuss and change my mind.

The 49ers had their season on the line and were desperate. They were embarrassed last week and were really up for this game. The Rams seemed tired (and obviously) were out of sync all night. Despite this, the Rams still could have won if not for a few missed plays.

The Rams were never going to go 16-0 and this was just one of those nights. It's a long, grueling season. The loss doesn't bother me that much. That said, it still remains to be seen how this team will react when they're up against a wall and battling for a playoff spot. That is yet to come.

I had to turn it off after the most brilliant 3rd-and-5 call on the 3rd-and-7 inside 2 minutes. Mind-numbing ridiculousness.

I had a scary thought last night. I know we have some young guys that will hopefully develop (Akers, Jefferson)

But last night, it became clear that we don’t have that playmaker who can take over on offense. Obviously that was Gurley the last few years when he was healthy. But we have lot of “good not great” guys. Kupp and Woods are good. But I think this is their ceiling.

I am disappointed in a lot of things, but McVay and Goff are at the top of my list:

McVay -
For a coach who has said he wants to adjust more, hires an OC and a D coordinator who adjust, I just DO NOT get it why he CANNOT adjust in a game? He adjusts from week to week, but he reminds me of Fisher......."We are going to Run, Run, dink pass and Punt no matter what the score or team!"

Goff -
He is so up and down that I can never tell if he is hot or cold. He is one of those QBs where ANY distraction destroys his rhythm and he rarely comes out of it.

I will apologize if this was stated earlier in the thread, as I not sure I have the stomach to relive a lot of last nights disaster. Why are we not using Jefferson anymore? Dude looked like a excellent route runner and great hands. Not to mention, is in all likiehood the fastest WR we have on the team. Reynolds should the the 4th WR and Jefferson the 3rd. I'll not get started on Akers of MB....

You can't just have your cake and eat it too. Watch all the games. It's games like last night that make every win that much sweeter!

Kupp and Woods aren’t Julio Jones but they certainly are capable of making those catches. That should’ve been the story of this game, the Rams who are willing and able to air it out and the 9ers who throw every pass within 5 yds of the LOS.
I know we all love Kupp but is this something to worry about, remember the game winner against the Hags he couldn’t pull in and now a gimme to put some heat on the 9ers.

It's not about going 16-0. Its about proving that we're a real team that can make the playoffs but we've yet to actually beat a good, playoff level team. Going 4-0 vs the NFC east isnt something to beat your chest about. And we weren't even really competitive yesterday, the 49ers just shit on us in all phases. How would you not expect them to come out ready to play after their embarrassing blowout vs MIA? Why were we so flat and unprepared to match their level? How much worse do we look on offense if they have Bosa, Ford, Alexander, and Sherman starting on defense?

This year's Rams team hasn't shown the consistency to be considered a quality team. We average 5.9 yards per carry, Goff wasn't sacked at all and was hardly under any pressure, but plays that bad??? How does that happen? We've played by far the weakest part of our schedule, and are heading into real quality teams now with legit defenses. And we cant even compete with the decimated 49ers? It was such a pathetic performance.

what kind of screwed up way is that to watch football?

if i know the score i'm not gonna watch the game. what's the fun in that?

watching sport is about feeling the anxiety during the game. without that what's the point?

Three seasons apart. I think he gets the benefit of the doubt...

I"ll tell you what kind of fucked up way that is to watch football. If you had my temperament you would understand, I can literally get to raging and that is no fun for me or anyone around me. If you don't believe me I'll let my wife tell you about it. I will share what is now a funny story with you. Years ago when I was in college the Rams played the Cowboys for the NFC championship and lost. My father said to my mother that I would probably quit school, the next day I was back home and had dropped out of school. I tell you I can crazy about this shit, just ask my family.

OK. You're right. The Rams are mediocre this year.

If not for the Dodgers and an NLCS game 7 I’d have watched every play as always.

Well look at the bright side Mach... We'll get a good draft pick midround in round one if you're correct. :ROFLMAO:

But on a serious note I do think this was a bad loss. But I also think the Rams will get past it.

I think you mean the jags will get a good draft pick.

The Rams must give them the 32nd pick.
