One movie scene wrecked me more than any other. My pea-brained doofus dad decided it would be a swell idea to take his eight year old son (eight!!) to go see "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" on Christmas Day, 1978.
Great topic @Loyal

Similar circumstance, my dimwitted brother (21) at the time decided to take me (12) and my younger brother (11) to the theater to see The Exorcist (1973). That turned out to be a horrifying experience from start to finish. That wrecked me and my brother for some time…LOL

The scene where Bruce Willis tells his daughter Liv Tyler that he has to stay behind to blow up the asteroid… the sacrifice… gets me every time.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say it wrecked me, but who can ever hear the song, “stuck in the middle with you” without picturing Mr. Blonde with a straight razor in his hand?

Ms Bissett in the opening scene of “The Deep” TRIED to wreck me, but I persevered. Wow. Talk about self abuse. That’s when I discovered it. Man, was she gorgeous in that flick.

Oh man, my wife is going to be elated to hear this. During this scene, I turned over to her and she was straight up ugly crying. I've teased her about it since.

SPOILERS :)

I guess the scene(s) that gets me (outside of a few mentioned here; i.e. Saving Private Ryan) are 2 scenes in Braveheart. The first is the scene where his wife is killed and he walks into town in exacts revenge. Gives me goose bumps.

Then finally, the scene where he is killed, slowly. Tough watch for sure.

I cried when Decrapio could not climb on top of the door floating in the ocean because the bitch would not give him any room at the end of titanic. And then to throw the fricking necklace in the ocean that the people on the boat were just trying to recover - ruthless.

Saw the movie just the other day. First time in years. Enjoyed it very much. Multiple twists and an excellent supporting cast.

I paused on the pool scene for a solid minute. Big Gary Sinese fan ... ;)
