Wonder why he got pulled over- would like some more details.
Always wondered how the cops find the gun - legal or not.

Usually a guys out on bail right afterwards but sounds like he was still in custody today. (Maybe he's out now?). That's fishy.

2am, pulled over, and has an illegal firearm. Not legal mind you. Means it was illegally bought. It's not illegal to have a gun in your car in the state of California mind you. What a moron.

Cut bait and have some other equally mediocre player fill his spot. It's not like he's been lights out. What a dumb ass.

Such a surprise. Kid seems like such a good, nice, smart dude. So out of character for him

Seemingly an average NFL player. Not average in the financial situation.
The average person on the street - aside from sports folks, at 21 yrs old - who gets a $4M contract and a signing bonus of $132K? While not an insurmountable wad of cash - certainly it is enough for most of the rest of us to live comfortably and to avoid having to go to sketchy places and be with people of questionable character. With a gun.
Got tossed out of Clemson at 20yrs old with responsibility for 2 kids.
Life choices. Made less than admirable choices myself - but, man up. You have more resources than 90% of the folks out here....

Its unfortunate. Sadly this is just another opportunity for people to make unnecessary comments about guns. The individual decision is the issue, not the gun.

Can someone explain the felony gun law that was broken? Is it because he didn’t have a permit or something?

I was gonna say give him a second chance. But it seems this is his second chance. Plus he had weed. I wouldn’t be upset if we cut him.

I believe he obtained it illegally and had no permit to carry it. Dumb on both accounts.

Fucking just seen this… you fucking serious? This was his second chance.

Cut his stupid ass, regardless if the laws in California are retarded he knew them and decided to do the contrary otherwise, for a second time. No pity whatsoever. It’s a culture thing.

Edit: I should also say I’m disappointed. He had the potential to start grinding and get better. Now I doubt we’ll or he will know his potential.

Some ppl keep a gun in their in car in case someone tries to rob them. Maybe it was with his registration and the cop saw it. Or course it should have been registered but that doesn't make him a thug.

Some people can be given the chance for a better life, with s as ll if the money they could ever want. Yet they always return to their comfort zone. PAC Man Jones is a good example of that.

This could be true but if it was registered there is no reason to incarcerate him. It’s likely that the gun was not registered, which means he wanted to cut corners and was comfortable doing it illegally. Or that he knew that he would not pass the background check.
