When am I not positive?Wow, nice to see you post something positive!
Idk, maybe you missed my point, maybe you dismissed it, but if you are saying, that the Rams, believe that 23, or maybe more players are all equal to each other, and none of them have a significant upgraded value to the team,RB's Swift, Taylor, Dobbins
WR's Higgins, Mims, Claypool
OL Cleveland, Adams, Cushberry, Bladasz
Edge Epenesa, Okwara, Uche,
LB Wilson, Baun, Harrison
DB Diggs, Hall, McKinney, Winfield
DT Madbuike & Blalock
QB (not for Rams but could go before 20) Eason Fromm
Don't see how Baun is the only guy left
Damned dirty cats! When am I not positive?
(Other than in conversations about cats of course)

We also don't know what on that list the Rams feel is the most important upgrade. Judging by this thread I'd assume you think it's Braun. Personally I want to upgrade the OLine first and foremost. If we can't protect Goff and run block better especially the latter we won't be back in the playoffs anytime soon but that's just my opinion. Baun is nice but not more important than guys like Hunt, Biadasz, Hennessey or Cleveland. Personally I'd rather spend the 2nd rounders on a WR and an OLine upgrade then in the 3rd go after say Moss at RB and Zuniga. We get an improved OLine a RB to team with Henderson and an Edge rusher with some damned good upside. And we get all of those instead of spending picks to move up because I think Baun will go in the top 4 or 5 picks in the 2nd round which means we have to give up 84 and 126 to move up and get him. Sorry that's not something I'd do.Idk, maybe you missed my point, maybe you dismissed it, but if you are saying, that the Rams, believe that 23, or maybe more players are all equal to each other, and none of them have a significant upgraded value to the team,
then...I’m out. Can’t debate or argue that with you. I, plainly, and strongly, disagree.
Nope, saying he is super, super positive. Not sure what you're getting at here. Are you saying that 23 difference makers mentioned by dieterbrock that could be available for the Rams at #52 isn't a positive?
I'm not being dismissive, I think there is a boatload of talent here and the Rams have a shot at 2 of them. Clearly you think Baun is head and shoulders above anyone on the list, and I'm not arguing whether he is or isnt. I like the player too, I just dont know if he's worth losing 1 of the other day 2 picks for considering he may still be there at 52.Idk, maybe you missed my point, maybe you dismissed it, but if you are saying, that the Rams, believe that 23, or maybe more players are all equal to each other, and none of them have a significant upgraded value to the team,

Not my point. It goes downhill from here. Bon chance.I'm not being dismissive, I think there is a boatload of talent here and the Rams have a shot at 2 of them. I never said that. I like Braun, yes. But, I want the Rams to get who THEY want, who THEY think might make a difference. Braun isn’t even my top choice, but he’s top 3.We also don't know what on that list the Rams feel is the most important upgrade. Judging by this thread I'd assume you think it's Braun. So arent we saying the same thing?I never said that. I like Braun, yes. But, I want the Rams to get who THEY want, who THEY think might make a difference. Braun isn’t even my top choice, but he’s top 3.
Unless Baun is the top rated guy on their board, no reason to trade up.
Any team, pretty much, would be willing to move, either way, if the value for them makes sense. For instance, you might be targeting a certain player, or players, and they go right before your pick. Your next need, or focus is 10 - 15 picks away. So you move down, and pick up another slot to shotgun a position of need.So in order to keep discussion going, what teams would be willing to drop back?
Bengals? Doubt it
Colts? With 2 picks 34 & 44 does that make them more or less open?
Pats? Are they going QB in round 2 and arent afraid of anyone in between taking their guy?
Miami? Are they done wheeling and dealing?
Understood, basic supply/demand stuff. In light of the obvious, there would be teams more open to trading back based on their specific need/value board and who is available, and the likelihood that said player will be available later. Just discussing who that could be.Any team, pretty much, would be willing to move, either way, if the value for them makes sense. Nope, again, never implied that. Lol. You are reading me way wrong, my friend. I simply answered your question.Understood, basic supply/demand stuff. You seem to be implying that I am suggesting not to trade up, which isnt the case at all. I'd move up in a heartbeat for Epenesa
I think the only position to trade up for is an OLB and there are 3 potential first rounders that slipped due to all the CBs/T taken and a couple surprise picks. I normally would have said no but in this case these are really good prospects. You hijacked my thread
There is some great talent available.
It’s going to be an exciting few hours as it would be a surprise if we stay at 52 and 57
Clearly your right but OLB/DE behind QB are the most coveted. I am not convinced Floyd, Ekuban and Obo are the answer. We can't afford Clowney or Ngakoue so I am trying to help the DL.RB's Swift, Taylor, Dobbins
