Yes. I like Arroyo. As a move TE.

But if the Rams were to move Puka to play slot and have Adams and Dos dos on the outside would they use a move TE all that much?

Now if they keep Puka on as an outside receiver and draft a guy like Arroyo it makes more sense.
I like him inline too. I think he could replace Higbee as of next year.

I like Mason Taylor but not at 26 and not likely to get to our 90-127 pick cluster. I love Luke Lachey as a later pick he is a pretty intriguing prospect but 4th may be too high and he is probably gone by our 6th round picks.
Of course this is if we don't go TE early

We need to get a 5th. Would be nice if a WR hungry team, who missed out on the FA WRs, would call about Kupp. Do that 6th/5th rd pick swap.

If the Rams were to draft Arroyo they would run a shit ton of 12 sets: Adams, Nacua, Higbee, Arroyo. That would be a very difficult collection of pass catchers to stop, with Stafford throwing to them. From there if the protections are good this offense would be damn near impossible to stop, defenses would plan to just try to contain the damage.

Agree,
Lots of value in the 5th from my “no nothing seat”
I have a few that I don’t think we will target in the 4th and likely wont be there in the 6th

Sub Fannin Jr and Ferguson in there with that too.

Arroyo projected to be late 2nd round pick by Consensus Mock Draft. If Rams stand pat with picks Ferguson/OR or Helm/TX would be best TEs available. IMO Helm doesn’t move the needle much. I’m hearing good things about Ferguson but can’t say I’ve watched him play.

I don't care what they say. If his knee's good medically he's a first round value in this draft IMO.

And btw I really like Ferguson. He also has no knee issue. But Arroyo's a clearly better prospect to my eye. Day one impact pass game weapon.

And for me he's 3rd of the list but it's not like it's a huge variance. Fannin obviously for me is 1st.
Right on. I really like Fannin but he hurt himself with Senior Bowl week and the underwear olympics. Expect he's a solid round 3 type now, maybe round 2 if someone like us try to get him before his window hits.

How did he hurt himself?
At the Senior Bowl he had mediocre practices but all of his coaches said he was the most improved player by the end meaning he was coachable. He had a good game and I think the longest reception of the game. Not sure what he did wrong at the combine either.

He did keep working and finished strong. But the Senior Bowl was good for Arroyo and Taylor in their draft position, not for Fannin. Just how I read it. Also the combine I expected him to be more 4.6 than 4.7. Could be wrong but we will see next month.

Disagree with everything you're literally the only person that I've read saying he hurt his stock.

Also it's a very good things the Rams pay absolutely zero attention to the 40 yard dash. We know very well they look at game speed the only things they do at the combine are the agility stuff like the 3 cone drill and the 10 yard split. And he was I'm pretty sure tops in that. The whole time there's been a stream of reasons to not like Fannin. Will he bust? Maybe same chance as every prospect. But I've yet to read a valid reason to not like him. In fact a lot of people have come around after the Bowl game and the combine to liking the kid more.

I think Fannin goes in mid to late rd 2 now. All he does is get open watching the film.
I hope we draft him.

If I'm right it's a good thing. Means we may come out of this draft with him in round 3.

On the flip side if McVay takes him at 26 I am fine with that. Because like you I am a fan of his game. I just see his standing among this TE class and how the league will perceive it differently.
