And it's highly doubtful that Hampton lasts to the third round.

In fact, I'd say there's <1% chance of it happening.

The main reason why I was really wary of Kupp leaving was Puka losing that mentor. He's still really young and I didn't realize he was only 22 and 20 when he was drafted. I thought he was a few years older because of how fast he's started and we've been targeting older players lately.

I feel like I can rest easy on that front now. Puka still has a lot to learn and Davante has a whole different style of WR to teach him.

After some thought about it last night I also came to this conclusion. Adams' Fresno jersey was 15 so it makes sense. I contemplated Puka with his BYU #12 too... and he also wore #15 for the Huskies so there's that.

We'll see if Puka likes getting a gift for it but rather him keep #17.

I’m not about numbers,but I got to thinking picking up a STUD like this.It would be a good jester for PUKA.

Thought - do you let Kupp’s jersey breathe,or would he take it because of that LEGACY & what KUPP has meant to him as a mentor & a friend??

It not the age as much as Kupp seems to have lost a step.He will be out to PROVE IT though.

His knee issues are a huge concern.

#18 might also work. Tyler Johnson is a free agent and may not return.

Adams (#18) and Nacua (#17) has a nice ring to it; and #18 has a Rams' history ... Roman Gabriel.
It was also Cooper Kupp's original Rams' jersey number.

Another possibility I would like is #1. Mainly because it might mean Derion Kendrick is off the roster.

For clarity; He just turned 32 and will play 2025 at 32yrs old.

Please Devante, don’t ask Puka to wear 17. He’s too nice and will oblige. I just got my Nacua jersey six months ago.

Puka wore 12 in college..he wore 17 because he was drafted 177.

Not sure Puka cares that much about #17.

Hope for your case he does!

I honestly don't know what we'd get for KW but didn't you see my lol? Only reason I'm throwing Hampton's name out there is due to McVay wanting more explosiveness/speed to the offense. I think McVay would be tempted but its anyone's guess if he actually pulled the trigger. I'm personally still leaning towards guessing CB is the pick but I don't know doo doo hahahaha

For those concerned about Davante being ARob 2.0 - I’m not. And here’s why.

1. Adams has been one of the best WRs, consistently, for the past decade. He has and always will be a better talent.

2. The guy is hungry and wants to win. He’s here to get a ring. I expect him to be a force on this team.

3. Even this past year, he played extremely well on two different teams.

I still hope we get a stud WR in the draft but I think this is going to be an excellent addition and quite frankly, he’s an upgrade over Demarcus Robinson.

The more I think about this move, the more I love it.

Send Davante and Tutu deep, and Puka on a short/intermediate route. Throw in a receiving tight end…

Good luck to opposing defences trying to cover that.
