Incredible pickup. Incredible.

Now.. trade back because this draft is deep in positions of need and you can continue to build for the future and win now!!!
Or Trade Up! Jeantty can't pick himself, Les!

Trade up for will johnson if he’s on the board and it’s close enough where it want cost to much
Warren, Will Johnson, Barron, or Loveland are my 4 biggest reasonable hopes. Not sure Warren is reasonable however. In a draft low on blue chip players, he is likely to get bumped up.
Like it. It follows my offseason plan so far.

Now go get BPA. Preferably TE or RB…or CB or more pass rush or even OT.

2 year deal parallel with the Stafford window. Nice.
RB is your 2nd choice? We currently have 2 good backs. We are much more needy at other positions. Outside of a very unlikely Kyren trade, I'm definitely not taking a back early.

Yep. Stafford needs to be able to hand off to a dude defenses are scared of.

Adding Adams certainly helps the explosives that are lacking. Adams can still scare DB’s.

Defenses don’t want to tackle Nacua so that works.

Our TE’s aren’t scary at all.

Kyren is a good back but no one is scared of him. He runs hard but not exactly punishing and he can’t run away from the defense. A good back. This offense needs a great back to take a bit of pressure off Stafford’s arm to do everything.

So yeah, BPA. If it’s an elite RB I’d pull the trigger. Probably won’t line up that way though. TE looks like the more likely BPA.

So what jersey # will Adams wear? Nacua owns 17.

Please Devante, don’t ask Puka to wear 17. He’s too nice and will oblige. I just got my Nacua jersey six months ago.

A lot of draft sites now believe Hampton could go as high as 10 to the Bears. So the two elite guys likley won't be there or within trade up range. So best case scenario for a RB would be a trade down and grab one in rd 2 or end of rd 1, but I would hate to take the #3 RB at 26 or with our first pick where ever that falls, in a deep RB draft. Grab one in rd 3 or 4 or even later. Maybe trade up into rd 5 and take someone who fell.

His contract has been added to OTC. 14M cap charge...

12M cap hit if released next yr, pre June 1st. Looks like if things go well they redo his deal next yr, much like Stafford.

Agreed. No reason to reach for these backs and as I said, I don’t believe it’ll line up(round 1).
There are a few directions the Rams can pivot off towards.

33 years old next season. He's still at the top of his game but he's running on the edge of the cliff of youth 'Hope he doesn't fall off.

Do any of you guys think Adams will be as willing a blocker in the run game as Kupp was? I’d hate to lose that dimension and advantage.

I think moving on from Kupp signals that role with either go to Puka, Higbee, a rookie TE, or a combination of the three.

While it wouldn’t be my plan… I would be ecstatic! No blue font!!!!
It wouldn't be my plan either but for a minute I imagined an offense with Puka, Adams, Jeanty, and Tutu. That's a lot of dynamic/speed players. It would be hard to stop.

If Jeanty fell to around 15 or so, a move up should be considered.

Great players work hard, study film and continue to build and develop their craft.
We see a bit of that in the video.
DA still has a deadly release.

The pic of him after the deal was announced showed him in Jersey #15

Everyone needs to block in this offense but Adams won't be doing what Kupp did for the most part.

One things the Rams need to sus out this offseason is if Puka will play more in the slot, he did some last year but that was mostly Kupp's role. Puka can do that "Kupp role" very well, though they may want to keep him at Z. Jourdan talked about Rams envisioning Puka and Whitt ala Kupp and Puka circa 2023. That suggests having Puka in the slot more often this season.

Tutu and Whitt can play some Z though.
