Unless you don't even read what you write, this rings really freaking hollow.
Not as hollow as all the posts about Davante "being a bust", "waste of $20 mil dollars" after only three games...... "cant catch"....blah....blah ... blah.

I just sat back and shook my head at all those post while watching members patting each others backs who could make the funniest butter fingers comments about Adams.

I find it odd how some here pick and choose what comments are deemed uncalled for, because it justifies this "Lord of Flies" syndrome in hopes some will forget the stupid shit they post around here.

So me posting a player should be focusing on the most important game of the season rather than others players pay checks is ultra negative? My how some peoples feelings get so hurt these days.... :eyeroll:

And I never implied or stated Davante should keep his mouth shut, you penned that, not me, so before you try to reprimand me, just make sure you quote exactly what I posted, and not put your little bitchy spin on it.
Devante said a positive thing and that is the only light that should be shined on it.
I have thought the same thing about McVays Rams for awhile.
The star player should all get together and figure it out. If they want to get all they can get, max everything, get out. But if enough of them agree to a take just little bit less to keep everyone together and happy, WINNING !!! what is wrong with that.
Devante is right on this. He has seen other teams and is offering wise advice to his younger teammates.

Your point is well taken.

But in a sport where you take a complete beating for 19 weekends and possibly more if you make the playoffs, with the risk of a season or career ending injury whiles under a remedial type contract.... Sometimes the money makes more sense for certain players individually and your family...... Can't blame a professional sports athlete for thinking that way.

Devante has had prosperous career to the tune of $150 million and though his advice may be noble in they eyes of some, but how can you tell someone (for example) like Nacua to take less money..... To me I just think that's a bit out of line IMO.

Some of us remember the Georgia Frontiere and Billy Devaney days. :ROFLMAO: :dizzy::ROFLMAO:

Will see when we offer Adam's a pay cut so we can ink Puka
Nah, we're likely inking Puka to an extension this offseason and DA is under contract for another year. Timing doesn’t line up for your theory.

Or, worse still, the Georgia/Zygmunt/Shaw days.

My dad despised Georgia.

For some reason my dad had a love affair with the Rams in St. Louis, he felt the Rams Fans in St. Louis were more loyal than LA Fans, and the St. Louis faithful had an elevated level of excitement over LA Rams Fans, though I think he was basing it off the Anaheim experience.

I have to admit my most enjoyable times were at St. Louis for the Rams game..... people were just off the charts cool, and they fed you good. In many ways I miss the people I met out there.

Watching Rams games in St. Louis between 1995-2010ish was football mecca. Dome was as loud as any venue in the NFL and was great atmosphere to hang out around the dome and down to the landing before and after games. I miss it.

If we did a thread detailing all the players who left the Rams under bad terms, bitter, over money, fighting with management....it'd be a long one. Hacksaw Reynolds, Kevin Greene, Dickerson, Bettis, Warner...on and on and on.

Adams, who played all that time in Green Bay, gave the Rams a hell of a compliment. No one was saying what a great organization the Rams were to play for in the 1980s, 1990s ,or 2000s....so it begs the question of what duane is complaining about.

Don't forget Isaac Bruce.

I may not be Kroenke's biggest fan as a St. Louisan, but I'd rather have him as my team's owner and win in L.A. than have Georgia as my team's owner and be the bad punchline of an utter joke that we were under her reign in the Lou.

Steven Jackson was the only player worth watching for a very long time, and I think a lot of us have become spoiled under McVay/Snead/Demoff/Kroenke. We can and have done worse, and I'm glad that Adams is sharing this with our young players because they can and possibly will do worse.

Good Lord, man, that is the most negative response that is humanly possible.

Davantae essentially says, "I love it here, and to you superstars who are coming up for a renewed contract, I think you should consider not playing hardball and give a home-team discount to the Rams because you'll never be happier than you are here."

And the response from @duanevalle22 is to imply, "maybe Davantae should keep his mouth shut and stick to preparing for the Bears."

I mean WTF?

Tons of posters have implied you write "troll" posts, and maybe you should start considering why you get under everyone's skin so often. You say you are a Rams fan, but you repeatedly write shit that has an incredibly inflammatory and negative spin. I could cite dozens of examples but I don't want to waste my time.

I've tried defending you before, but I'm done.

You may think you are a fan and just being honest about your opinions. That may be true. But it's also true that your posts piss off many people on a consistent basis, and I sure wish you'd consider why that keeps happening.
Getting under peoples skin is the point of being a troll.

Tank you Tae! I love hearing about veterans coming in here after having experienced completely dysfunctional orgs and using that experience to say "Hey, in all my years in the league, it ain't better then this". Much appreciated love from 17 that speaks volumes about how our organization is run.

And I know we all interpret that to mean "Take a pay cut to be here". But the Rams aren't the kind of organization to allow that either. They aren't looking to rob anyone of their money.
