Absolutely! Again, Rams just blowing our minds with the development of somewhat "outcasts" and lower round picks. Oh, remember the media 4 months ago: "Rams lost this guy and that guy and are mortgaged their future with no #1 draft picks." SURPRISE MF'RS! Here we are again. But this time with the #2 D in the league and a running game nobody ever saw coming. D Williams just killing it and is a heck of a great locker room guy too. I hope we hold onto him for a long time.

I dunno what it will take to retain him, but we should do whatever we can to try.

With the cap contracting and so many teams like the Saints, Eagles and others so far over the cap, I don't think guys on winning teams will be wise to "shop around". Better to wait out the cap of '21 and look for that money in '22 if at all possible.

I agree with you.

If you are right then the Rams Org better get Free Agent Darious Williams tied up under contract for a long term contract ASAP. The good is an RFA like DW will cost close to a near $5 million if tendered @ the highest amount. Hopefully, then the Rams Org. can use the time from this tender to prepare a long term contract for DW.

Why utilize the most expensive tender is to ensure that DW remains a Ram with the highly probable losses of starting DB's John Johnson III & long time Ram Troy Hill.

I do not think the Rams can afford the losses of all three starting DB's (Hill/ Johnson / Williams) in 2021. The CB unit's #4 corner is David Long & the Rams do not have a bona-fide 5th corner. The safety unit is in better condition as far as talent level & the number under contract. Keeping in mind the Rams only have four 2021 draft selection at this point in time
