Cowherd was saying today that the 9ers were the best spot for OBJ. He would get to stay in California, which he seems to like, he would be the #1, and they would probably give him multiple years. I thought the SB showed pretty clearly what OBJ could do as a 3 especially with Kupp and Robinson occupying the top 2 corners, but who knows what he’s thinking.

Cowherd also proclaimed the 9ers as the team likely to win the nfc. He believes Lance is due to break out under Shanny, like Matt Schaub, Matt Ryan and Jimmy G did. Cowherd went on to compare Lance to Mahomes, who also sat out his rookie year. Until proven otherwise that’s the only comparison between those 2. In 4 years Mahomes played in 32 games and threw 1300 passes, while in basically 1 season plus 3 games in 2 others, Lance threw 300 passes.
Lance just hasn’t had the reps to make any kind of judgment. Josh Allen was a small guy who has gone to the next level so it surely can happen but it took some time with him too.
Cowherd likes to stir things up, maybe that’s why he failed to mention the defending champs in the same division as the niners.

Colts or Packers (if not the Rams) make most sense I think. Shitters if he wants to experience more losing.

OBJ best fit is not with the Rams for OBJ's career but I am hoping he thinks big picture here and stays and realizes the countless millions more he will make staying in socal. He will not be the #1 in san Fran He will be the #3 behind Deebo and Kittles. His best match is GB but I am thinking he does not like small market and I am betting Rogers personality would rub him wrong IMO. Here he is the #1 personallity on O

If OBJ wants to win another ring, then the Rams make the most sense. If it's only $$$, then he can go to Cleveland or another place that can pay more where he will have a full season with 55 catches and 473 yards and 1 TD.

The big question is if OBJ will play at all in 2022.

If that is the case, it will be max 6 regular season games.
He connected with Stafford straightaway. I think it could happen with Rodgers, but with Trey, unlikely.

If OBJ bets on himself, he will take a one year deal, and then GB and the Rams are the 2 choices he has that give him the most opportunity to maximize his next contract. For a one year deal, I am not sure that location will be an issue.

On the other hand, OBJ may be looking to cash in on a long term deal, if that's the case, SF could be in play, but not sure they would offer a big $$ multi-year deal.
I think that OBJ would then be looking for best offer in a location he would want to be, and GB would not likely be high on the list.
Rams remain in play for sure, maybe Miami, Chargers, etc.

I don’t see it, with the 49’ers. OBJ won’t want to be paired with a rookie QB, if he can avoid it.
Yeah I don't see OBJ going to another unsettled situation unless they just absolutely threw the bank at him which no one is going to do this year.

As others have said GB or Colts would be good spot but no one wants to live in GB if they can help it plus the Packers rarely go out and get super stars like that. Colts would be intriguing though.

That was my thought as well. If he lands in SF with a developing QB, it was probably about the money. I guess the exception would be if OBJ doesn't sign until midway through the season and the 49ers are dominating the NFC West, but I just don't see that happening.

Colin is running out of shit to say and reaching now late in the off season. He gets lit up by his guests for idiotic reaches like saying Tribisky and others will beast it. Smh

Problem with being in media is you get have to constantly put out content and at times you get stuck giving a retarded ass take.

When there is an active season and many things to digest he typically has pretty good takes.

Personally, I think OBJ would have signed by now With a team of he wasn’t sold on running to our Rams. Unless someone Pony’s up a version of a Von contract he’ll return when we can verify he is completely healthy and can be an asset with little to no question marks.

Colin has been saying he's coming back to the Rams for months now, I thought I heard Nick say he should go to the whiners on the show this week.

Don’t want to read what he has to say, but F’ Cowheard!!

I’ve said all along that he will be a Packer though.

How would the 9ers get the ball into OBJ's hands enough times before there's trouble? The 9ers run the ball mostly with a running inexperienced QB.......

The Browns manly ran the ball big in 2021, things did not go smooth with OBJ.
