Okay I like Cowherd's style, however, he was not on the Rams early this year, he was on them last year. He felt the acquisitions of Suh,, Peters & Talib would create problems in the locker room, he was wrong. He also felt the Rams would have more injuries this year than last, besides Kupp, he was wrong on that too. I will give him credit on Goff last year, but I believe @Elmgrovegnome is correct, it has to do with ratings and IMO, I know the Chargers invited Cowherd into the draft room this year, so I believe because of that, he could be giving them a tad more hype.
I take it FWIW, keep in mind for several weeks he kept talking up Jim Harbaugh and how Michigan was going to crush Ohio State and Harbaugh was going to get Michigan to the College Playoffs. Cowherd kept saying..."People think Jim Harbaugh is odd because he likes milk with his steak, but they will crush Ohio State and Urban Meyer will retire." Well, he got the Meyer retiring right, but not only did Ohio State beat Michigan, they crushed them and now the Wolverines and that milk drinking tea toddler has to play in the Peach Bowl....Anyway I felt really good about the defense last week and for as bad the Rams played, they still put up 30 points and won on the road by double digits.
