Okay I like Cowherd's style, however, he was not on the Rams early this year, he was on them last year. He felt the acquisitions of Suh,, Peters & Talib would create problems in the locker room, he was wrong. He also felt the Rams would have more injuries this year than last, besides Kupp, he was wrong on that too. I will give him credit on Goff last year, but I believe @Elmgrovegnome is correct, it has to do with ratings and IMO, I know the Chargers invited Cowherd into the draft room this year, so I believe because of that, he could be giving them a tad more hype.

I take it FWIW, keep in mind for several weeks he kept talking up Jim Harbaugh and how Michigan was going to crush Ohio State and Harbaugh was going to get Michigan to the College Playoffs. Cowherd kept saying..."People think Jim Harbaugh is odd because he likes milk with his steak, but they will crush Ohio State and Urban Meyer will retire." Well, he got the Meyer retiring right, but not only did Ohio State beat Michigan, they crushed them and now the Wolverines and that milk drinking tea toddler has to play in the Peach Bowl....Anyway I felt really good about the defense last week and for as bad the Rams played, they still put up 30 points and won on the road by double digits.

So he was all over them, they lose to the saints and suddenly they're soft? The saints lost to the cowboys and he said they had an off day, happens to everyone. They all talk crap.

.

Irrelevant to my point, which was in reply to "[Cowherd has] been picking against the Rams all year." He hasn't. I don't know when he switched, but he was singing our praise after the Chiefs game, too, so his current opinion can't be 100% influenced by our loss to the Saints.

He wasn't singing their praise after the Chief game, the clips that I watched and heard Cowherd talked about how the Chiefs almost won and they were on the road and the Rams had everything going their way because of the fires and because of bad officiating and 5 turnovers, the Chiefs just came up short. That's what I heard. He was on the Ram bandwagon last year, not this year.

Also people and pundits that were praising McVay are now going the other way like Cowherd did with Dickerson talking about older coaches like Pete Carroll, Andy Reid, Frank Reich and the curmudgeon in New England as the "young coach." thing is getting too much play so some pundits will go away from the trend.

So yeah, BS. He even calls the Rams a "strong, physical, power running team" on multiple occasions. Also said "This is the best offense I've seen in the NFL from top to bottom" after the Vikings game. How is that him "picking on the Rams all year", exactly?

The thing is I really don't care what the media thinks or the announcers think.

I do like seeing Rams players making appearances sometimes - but media opinions?

Media talk shows -Half the time they don't know that much about the team they are criticizing (but as fans when we talk about other teams we often do the same thing)

they just say shit to ratings.

Even with all that I hardly pay attention.

Win super bowls and all the bandwagon jumping/attention to be desired will occur.

One game at a time.

He said both organizations were amazing for putting that great game together on such short notice. Gave Kroenke, Snead, Demoff and McVay props. He then went on to say how if that game, given how it played out, was at Arrowhead, he thought the Chiefs would win. I would agree with that, just like I believe if our game against the Saints was instead in LA, we come out on top there. Home field is a huge factor when two evenly matched teams play.

Feel free to disregard my most recent post with all of the examples of Cowherd praising the Rams, tho, since it doesn't fit whatever made up narrative some fans have created because they don't like him.

Personally, I think Cowherd has been consistent all season.
And, while it’s not a huge point, his picking “against” the Rams has to do more with the spread, which LA has been less than stellar at, than an anti LA agenda.
Jeez guys. It’s an opinion show.

I think this is a huge show me game tomorrow.
