They were saying during the week, that the Cowboy's Dline was vulnerable to runs up the gut. Gurley isn't as good as Anderson doing that. I don't care if Gurley gets another yard this game, as long as we win. I am sure that Todd feels the same way.

With the Panthers he was not going to get on the field with Christian McCaffrey as the starter. With the Raiders they had two injured O-lineman and it was a numbers game. We lucked out.

My guess is that he asked Carolina to cut him because they weren't using him. Oakland signed him for a short time due to injuries. After that, teams were either established at HB or not in the running for the playoffs (so they didn't want to sign a veteran HB). Things just perfectly aligned for us.
