Boy I wish we got saddled with Gase....
That said, he was the WR coach with a fancy title of passing coord. That was Boras offense, Boras play calling. The failure of the offense was clearly on him.

I think it was on Fisher.

just thinking. With McVay implementing his offense, and calling the plays on gameday, what role is really required of OC? Maybe this is one of those chances for McVay to teach and get that offensive coordinator tree planted...
Go right now,and wash your mouth out with soap, young man.;)

Fisher wasn't there for the last 3 games

The wheels had come off long before then.

I'm not saying we should retain him as OC. I just think that he was in way over his head and doesn't deserve the grief he's getting. He's a good dude by all accounts.

He had an opportunity after fisher was removed to separate himself from the miserable offense we had witnessed up until that point. And it was worse. Play calling got more conservative. Sure it's Fishers fault for putting Boras in a spot that he was completely unqualified for and inept at. But it doesn't excuse it either.

I think we can agree that he's a TE coach.
