That second down playcall that tried to stretch it out was terrible. You gotta just run straight ahead. Texas didn't and now they've lost because of it.

Fast defense like that and they run wide. Crazy.

I hate those slow developing run plays in situations like that.

As Marshall Faulk once said, scoring from that close is just about attitude. Run it straight ahead with attitude.

We'd have to move on from K-Will, but if we did for whatever reason (remember, none of us anticipated moving on from Akers early on), Judkins would be my pick.

Not comparable at all. Williams has more TDs THIS YEAR than Akers has in his career. Moving on from Alers would be no different than moving on from Tyler Johnson. It’s a name we know, and he’s made a few big plays, but the consistent production isn’t there.

Key word in my phrase was "early on". Early on, we thought Akers was our Gurley replacement, our Henderson replacement. Things change in the future, and nobody's a seer.

Things change? Akers had 2.5 years of injury, poor performance and piss poor attitude before they moved on
Really not good Juju to be comparing our stud RB to that mental midget on the precipice of the playoffs

True, but Kyren wasn’t drafted to be Akers replacement. He just outplayed him. You’re talking about getting rid of a guy who has 31 TDs in his last 28 games for a guy with no pro experience who isn’t even a true RB1 on his college team.

We? Not me. Instead of "was" how about "could potentially be" the Gurley replacement. And that included in tandem with Henderson.
Even early on the guy was injured as a rookie and tore his achilles the next season.
