Well, I dont want to see Dickerson's 2105 broken, so I cant rightly root for Kupp to break the records....
I agree but if he was able to break that knob jockey Thomas’ receptions record, I could live with it!

I think he has an excellent chance. Ravens pass defense is the worst in the league. They don't have any defensive backs or any combination of defensive backs that can cover him, AFAIC. I expect Stafford to throw to him a lot.

The 17 game thing isn't really a big deal, IMO. The league is going to move to 18 games probably within 10 years.

If he does, Stafford will be the passer to set up the 2 best receiving seasons ever for a receiver, food for thought....

If I am correct Cooper Kupp is only around 230 yards away from breaking Calvin Johnson’s Single Season Receiving Yardage (1964) Record and I think 17 Receptions from breaking Michael Johnson’s Receptions (149) Record. With the Rams having 2 Games left it won’t be easy but I think it can be done IF the Rams don’t sit him for any length of time.

While there is no doubt the Rams getting to and winning this Season’s Super Bowl is the most important goal for the Rams it would be nice to see a player like Cooper Kupp get into the NFL Record Books! Who would have thought when the Rams drafted WR Cooper Kupp (4.62 Time) in the 3rd Round of the 2017 NFL Draft from Eastern Washington that he might be setting new NFL Receiving Records?

i was gonna ask who this michael johnson is and why can't i remember him then i read the article below and it said michael thomas. now i really want kupp to get the reception record.

Quite a few armchair GMs have been advocating trading him the last two off seasons. If that continues, hopefully at least his “mock value” goes up.

I kept expecting Kupp’s pace to slow this season… Never happened. He’s been amazing.

Agreed! But Kupp will never break Thomas' record for push offs!

Now that we've clinched the playoffs I could see McVay and Stafford putting a little extra effort in making this happen given that he's so close

I think Odell likes it here even if Kupp gets the majority of the targets.
