Lord, I don't ask for much, please please please do not let Mr.Kupp sign with ANY team in the NFC West. My world would collapse around me if he wears whiner or shecock gear next season. It can't happen.

Does the open 2025 cap space carry over to 2026 if not used? If so, I guess in the end it doesn’t matter much - except to give yourself extra 2025 for a major in season move. Otherwise, it’ll carry over and you are at the same spot regardless.

If it does not carry over - then it must mean we really spent a lot recently and need that money.

Edit: it does carry over. So no loss here for 2026 cap space with this post 6/1 designation - unless they use it all up in 2025.
It carries over. I think the Rams are done for now in free agency. They will focus on the draft now and when June 1 rolls around the money saved from releasing Kupp along with the cap space will be used to sign the draftees and finishing out the team in the second phase of free agency with a portion set aside for in season needs. Barring any more moves that would be about 28 million.

I watched the 9+ minute career highlights of Kupp, Wow! This one hurts. He will forever be a fan favorite. All the love for him as a person and player is well deserved. On another note, our old uniforms and helmets were so amazing.

I have nothing but good memories of Cooper Kupp. That says something and I bet I am not alone.

I hope he gets an opportunity with an AFC team we can root for.

Yes sir. I hope he does well...In the AFC :)

Oh my goodness! at the 1:10 mark is that epic toss of the touchdown ball to the ref who nonchalantly catches it 1 handed without moving an inch and keeping his arms in the Touchdown signal.

The Seahawks make sense if he wants to move back home and stick it to the Rams twice a year. The Chargers make sense if he wants to stay in LA and compete for another title.

Pittsburgh and Jacksonville only make sense if they give him a shit ton of money. And the 49ers suck.

Rams may take a pause but they aren’t done with free agency.

Interesting.

It gives the Rams more options for late free-agent pickups. It provides them protection to sign someone if they have injuries during camp and the season.
Cap space for that “fuck them picks” trade mid season for some stud maybe?
